On the one hand, applaud Turkey backing Ukraine and keeping them supplied with drones, helped by Russians killing a bunch of Turks not long ago.
On the other hand, fuck them if they try to hold this up, given their past behaviors with Russia.

We seen this before. Greg Sankey will give him a call.

It will be unanimous vote.

You keep saying this, but the historical record is completely against you on this.  A great example is the 1st Marine Division at Frozen Chosin.  It becomes part of a unit's legend how they treat their wounded and dead.

A big part of this is you don't know who is wounded or KIA or MIA.  You can't leave them behind.

Good armies take care of their wounded and collect their dead.  Period.

Black Hawk Down is a perfect example.

The entire mission changed from.one of abduction to rescue and recovery after the first black hawk went down

I have to hope this is Erdogan acting tough for the sake of his electorate.

Erogan is a piece of dick.  If he fucks this up, I will fuck him up.  Actually, scratch that -- just send a platoon of Finnish soldiers down there, and tell Erdogan "sleep well tonight, nothing to be afraid of."

then say, hey, there are some dead bodies in this video. But very graphic? Its just dead people....Graphic would be gang rapes filmed live of underage adults that have taken place. Seeing relatives screaming burning alive. Americans don't know graphic and a war would shock our soft nation to the core. We cant even agree on bathrooms. Ukranians drink to the thought of russian blood spewing like a fountain.

We get it dude, shut the fuck up and go fuck your Colombian girls while getting robbed in the streets and telling how soft we are. Douche bag

Athens executed their generals after they won a naval battle against a numerically superior and well trained Spartan lead navy.   A storm arose and the generals were discussing assignments and issues on how to to press the attack or to rescue and so a bunch of men drown and bodies were not treated according to custom.  This was the event that lost them the war.  They even executed their beloved Pericles' son (one of the generals).

It's probably BS, but some twitter buzz that over in China, Winnie the PoohXi had an aneurysm amidst coup rumors.

May or may not be living in interesting times.

Dual serious illnesses/coups in parallel in China and Russia would be......not great.  Massive instability in both countries (both large nuclear powers) at once makes for a dangerous situation globally.

Wondering if Snake Island was/is really helpful to Russia keeping up a naval blockade of Ukraine from a goods export perspective and that’s why Putin has kept pounding blood and treasure down that hole:

http:// Russian blockade hits exports of Ukrainian agricultural products https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/russian-blockade-hits-exports-ukrainian-agricultural-products-2022-05-13/

“Ukraine can export no more than 1.5 million tonnes of agricultural products a month because of a Russian blockade of its ports, First Deputy Agriculture Minister Taras Vysotskiy said on Friday.

He was quoted by Interfax Ukraine news agency as saying that before the blockade Ukraine could export more than 5 million tonnes of agricultural crops each month. Ukraine is now sending its products abroad by rail.”

So Putin's got cancer, and Xi is flirting with an aneurysm.  I didn't start my political life leaning left, but damn if our ODB ain't getting some shit done.

Definitely given it's location, right off the coast of Romania. However, this is even stupider shit than usual by Russia. They already have most of the world against them, now they are going to add a global famine on top of things they will be correctly blamed for.

At some point, the world is going to realize that a lot of this can be stopped by a simple vote to remove Russia from the UN Security Council. There was never a vote authorizing them to take the USSR's seat. In typical Russian fashion, they just took it. Give that seat to Ukraine instead, or just get rid of it.

Now the UN is no longer deadlocked and the world can get serious about coordinated punishments.

Yeah I’m sure Russia may be thinking it hurts Ukraine economically not exporting that grain; but if you think a few moves ahead, it all falls apart. As you say, Russia will be blamed for (another) famine; but I don’t think it would even get that far - If global food supplies do get stretched, somebody (potentially Turkey) is going to send ships to get that grain, with a naval escort. Firing on a NATO vessel would illicit a massive response. It’s another No-win situation, that’s also a distraction from any achievable military gains.

I mean, in the past couple of years, we've managed to cram in:

Global pandemic

War

Famine (just getting fired up)

Recession (looming)

So, sure, why the fuck not.  I mean, [Nowthis] once your butthole is good and reamed open, what's one more thing crammed up there? [/Nowthis]

Those trains hauling guns in are taking grain out.
