As amazing as the Kharkiv offensive has been, there is still a lot of fighting left to clear the remaining occupied territory.  The Kherson offensive seems to be grinding forward slowly, and the Kharkiv offensive is moving into the consolidation phase, slowing or stopping forward movement, at least temporarily.  There are still western weapons systems that are not deployed in the Ukrainian Army, and a lot more Ukrainians to train.  Obviously there are unknown actions planned by both sides, and the possibility exists that the Russian forces collapse and rapidly retreat or surrender, but successful generals have a plan for a long haul.  We need to prepare ourselves for a long winter, some Ukrainian setbacks, and an even more active 2023.  I still believe, more strongly than ever, that Ukraine will win all of their territory back, but it ain't over until the fat lady sings.  As a wise man in a movie once said, let's don't go sucking each other's dicks just yet.

I'm sure those Eritrean troops will love the Ukrainian winter. And I'm sure Russia will make sure they have adequate cold weather gear and rations.

I’m fairly certain the Eritrean troops are quite familiar with inadequate rations.

Has a real "Jamaican bobsled" feel to it. Eritrea, we have an infantry fighting team!

It'll be the feel-good movie that will have audiences laughing and crying for more! In theatres this holiday season!

We can’t downplay the impact vodka has played in this war. It seems pretty apparent to me that most Russians, from the top down, are constantly drunk.

I am not a military expert, but it seems like fighting a war while drunk would not prove beneficial.

Counterpoint....being drunk has been necessary to get through the past 15+ years of Texas football seasons, so.....let's not be so judgey-judgey.

I mean you could argue the benefits of it as well, seeing all the shot you don’t have makes you drink more

Counter counterpoint: Ask our head ball coach how that worked out for him.

So realistically, they're gonna give them an AK and just turn them loose behind the lines.

All of those residents of Donetsk and Luhansk are gonna feel SUPER liberated as a horde of heavily armed criminals is turned loose in their cities to loot and rape instead of risking their asses getting blowed up by UKA artillery.  Hey Donbas separatists.....this is what you wanted.  You got what you wished for.  Enjoy!

So your rubber stamp helps make civilian life more dire and desperate for thousands of men who have weapons training, and your name is on there in case they get bored and start seeing if they can find you?

I am mighty tempted to say Ukraine should respond by reciprocating and hitting Bolgorad, Kursk, and other Russian cities in range of HIMARS and destroying their infrastructure.  I would rather Ukraine continue to concentrate on the Russian Army until they are all dead or gone from Ukrainian territory.  Again, Russia shows that they are better terrorists than soldiers, and they know it.

Military depots, munitions plants, factories that could produce war materials, Fuel delivery and storage depots.  Yep.

Would be tempting to hit their main source of revenue the gas pipelines and refineries but that would put Western Europe in a bind.

Also, maybe the Eritrean forces can help the Russians with their shitty-ass music. Maybe add a little R&B/funk to it.

Maybe they will be tasked with removal of the dead. Tastefully, but with flavor.

Comedian is a hard row to hoe to even make a living. To be a popular one, especially one with his own TV show? That's a jugular-biting eyeballs-clawing Alpha badass. Putin thought he was gonna put Zelensky back touring the college circuit. Poor dumb bastard.

I thought Girkin was just ranting as usual, but something seemed odd about the “pink ponies and unicorns” and then somebody re-posted this; it’s been out there for awhile, don’t know if he’s taking a veiled shot at Vlad or not.
