I volunteered today. Log/Admin role to replace people for 30-60 days. The operation is in the west, or should the Orcs win will be pulled back behind the NATO wall. Either way the humanitarian effort

Interesting development. One has the balls to call what Russia is doing a crime.

Soloyvov will chew on that over night, go back to his bunker radio podcast show, and double down that other cities need to be blasted off of the planet

That look on his face is hilarious. He legitimately was just introduced to an entirely foreign concept and has no idea how to even conceptualize of such a thought like "you shouldn't bomb peaceful cities."

More geeky stuff.  Carrier-based (probably trying to sell it to the US or UK), but can be used on land.  Baykar has a great place to test these out.

A really long thread with lots of info about target selection, limitations of Ukrainian systems, how they are able to really shape the battlefield and force Russia to move to this or that area.

Interesting, and we've seen Russian military bloggers/correspondents saying things that you wouldn't think they would say, but at the same time, they are on a leash (or they get sent to the front).  Their target audience is the Russian military though, and not the civilians.

This is still staggering to me.

The United States could replace this, although it would take some time, but we would also have stockpiles/stored units that we could draw from, that we know would work, because we don't have oligarchs literally stealing them and parting them.  China, maybe.

  • A general every month.
  • A colonel (regimental commander) every 6 days
  • A lieutenant colonel (battalion commander) every 2 1/2 days
  • A major (battalion XO or acting battalion commander) every 1 1/3 days
  • A captain (company commander) ever 22 hours with an extra one killed 11 or so days
  • A lieutenant (senior or regular, platoon commanders, company XOs, acting company commanders) every 8 hours.
  • An officer killed every four hours.

Hundreds of companies and platoons have lost their commanders.  Dozens of battalions and more than a few regiments have lost their commanders.

That is fucking insane.

More Patriots heading Poland’s way— this time German.

Vice Prime Minister: It’s with satisfaction that I accepted the proposal of the German defense minister for the temporary stationing of an additional Patriot missile battery in our country. During my telephone conversation today with the German side I propose stationing the system bear the border with Ukraine.

That is insane.  How many Colonels has the US military had killed in battle post-Vietnam? Can’t be more than a handful.  45 is big ass number.  Same for them losing 10 Generals.

I have no idea how that unicorn got in my post but it’s not like it’s a @NowThis error. I’ll take it.

NowThis would have the unicorn positioned differently.

A few thoughts.

1- Is that Attention? Sloppy troops.

2- Nice collection of uniforms.

3- If the nation is under control, why do the detaining troops need full body armor, combat kit, AK's?

4- Great fucking way to build morale. Yeah, you are fighting so you don't get arrested vs. you are fighting to defend the nation.

Fuck Russia.

It seems like it would be hard for Ukraine to support so many different systems from so many different countries.

I would imagine they get deployed along with the troops that had been in those respective countries training on those systems.
