Retards on Twitter are of course using the McDonald's video as evidence that the war is a hoax.

One might argue that long lines at McDonald's is proof of the hardships of war, just saying.

Note to self, McDonald's in Ukraine appear to have a high number of baddies that visit them.

Yeah he’s jumped the shark, maybe intentionally entering the “old man yells at cloud” zone so that cooler heads can prevail while he keeps the crazy rants going to some how “save face” int their way. Solovyov is like Khrushchev banging his shoe on the podium like a clown and the rest of the folks know it’s time to “make a deal, wrap this up and get back to doing business with Europe”, as was said in the other state tv broadcast.

I didn't realize Solovyov was so short til I saw the picture of him and his basketball playing wife. Seeing that little sawed off mofo standing in the middle of normal sized people really puts his rant in perspective. Exhibit 231459 of "small man syndrome."  Queue the Putin holding a Solovyov marionette gif.

USNS Fisher Conducts Onload
By Mass Communications Specialist 1st Class

Tacoma, Wash. – The USNS Fisher (T-AKR 301) conducted an onload at the Port of Tacoma May 17th to the 24th.

The onload was an integrated effort between US Army Reservists and ...

The joined forces onloaded various pieces of equipment including Strykers, Load Handling Systems (LHS), and Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTV).

“What we’re doing here is not uncommon, we do about a dozen or more of these missions every year,” ... “What makes this evolution unique is the size of it.”

In this particular evolution the ship is moving more than triple the pieces that is normal for this type of evolution.

“We are moving the most amount of pieces in one port in a very long time,”

“You have the Army, the Navy, and what I call the 5th arm of defense, the Merchant Marines working hand in hand together to fulfill the mission, which is logistics,” ... “I think it’s impressive. Without Logistics our armed forces could not be successful.”

Most of the pieces of equipment will go to Australia to support Exercise Talisman Sabre.

I was in Uzbekistan for one semi-serious Karimov disappearance and death rumor, and he kicked the bucket shortly after I left. This Lukashenka business is extremely reminiscent of that.

I don’t think Putin had him poisoned, at the point even Putin understands that the stability and certainty he offers is invaluable at a time when all is melting down. The wide understanding is that Lukashenka’s bastard son (no one is 100% sure who the mom is) has been groomed to replace him. If the boss has really bitten the dust, I’d expect Russia to maneuver with some BYS security service thugs to maybe install him as a figure head, or maybe just shunt him off to the side for someone to Moscow’s liking. I don’t see an intervention.

To speculate for a moment, what's to say that some anti-Putin group didn't poison Lukashenka with the goal of further destabilizing putin

I feel like we’re treading here into the old saw that Russia is a place where 9/10 things you hear are false but 10/10 things you hear COULD be true.  He’s an old-ass Soviet apparatchik, a legendary drunk. These have been stressful times. And if an anti-Putin group could poison him in Moscow on a state visit— they could likely just poison Putin and be done with that all.

These are big ships that carry a lot of military cargo and can load/unload it very fast - basically stuff you want to get across an ocean fairly fast (and aren't waiting around for a commercial ship), but that's too bulky for air (or it isn't needed within 24 hours). One of these scenarios (and there was a third ship (or first) that departed a few days before them):

1) Normal US movements - rotating units with heavy equipment from the US to Japan/South Korea/Diego Garcia/other areas (Australia) or bringing them home.

2) Backfilling US stock in the Pacific/Asia area that was sent to Ukraine

3) Backfilling stock from allies in the Pacific/Asia area that was sent to Ukraine (Australia has sent a lot of stuff for instance).

4) Weapons systems/etc. that were sold to allies in Pacific/Asia (see Australia)

5) Helping move heavy stock from allies in the Pacific/Asia area to Ukraine (although that is a hellluva trip since it'd be almost around the world).

Holy shit, I need that patch.

eBay UK  has them https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/266182794813 hmmm...shipped from Ukraine even.

And as a former artillery scout (Fister), that blew my mind seeing the soldier holding a smartphone showing him real-time UAV footage of exactly where his rounds were dropping. I knew it was happening at a low-tech kind of way in Ukraine (simple off-the-shelf UAV controlled by somebody at the battery), but to actually see that in real-time was wild.
