now i realize what I am about to write could be construed as war mongering, or escalating the issue.

But we, and the rest of the civilized world have declared Wagner to be a foreign state run terroist organization.

based on that designation we would be legally allowed to cruise missile the ever-living fuck out of the wagner camps in Belarus.

yes, it might escalate things, but it could also shut Russia and wagner the fuck up if 90% of their new Belarus headquarters staff and equipment all spontaniously combusted one night.

Russia has a treaty with Belarus (or rather Belarus has a treat with Russia).

Do it in Africa.  Russia could do nothing to help them, and we could claim it was at the request of those that Wagner is exploiting.

Would deprive them of international revenue, and send a message.

There is a hostile regime in the Central African Republic begging to find out.  Quite frankly, I'm surprised they haven't been hit there.   Also, I could be wrong, but my understanding is that Wagner is legally a criminal organization, not a designated terrorist organization.  While a technicality, it's a big distinction.  I.E. we don't use stealth cruise missiles to cripple the mafia on Sicily, therefore we don't do it Wagner in Africa.  Now, should they get the ISIS level label, well then, flying death robots it is.

Rybar is reporting that Russian Forces have Exploited their “Breakthrough” in the Luhansk and Kharkiv Region by more than 7km now, with Airborne Elements reported to have Crossed the Zherebets River and Occupied a number of High-Grounds on the West Bank; there are also reports…

You’re telling me the Russians can’t advance a hundred meters for months on end, and now suddenly are sprinting ahead and gaining seven km in a day?

I don’t know, man. Just smells like Cannae to me.

Alternatively, just stop pretending they are a PMC and instead regard them as a wing of the Russian Military.  Any action performed by them is considered an act of the state.

Deep State is pretty reliable.

The Deep State Telegram channel says that Russian forces have made gains southwest of Svatove over the past week with a significant artillery advantage. https://t.co/5o2Fx0jBQq

Russia is playing a dangerous gameLast night, they struck targets right next to the Romanian border for the first time. This video was recorded by Romanians, showing the attacks on the port of Reni, right across the Danube riverRomania is a NATO state

Overnight, Russian loitering drones (likely Geran-2s) targeted grain silos at the Ukrainian Port of Reni. Reni sits along the Danube River. On the other side? NATO-bonded Romania.

Rybar says this morning raid on Crimea saw unusual paths for Ukrainian UAVs followed by 4 Storm Shadows which all hit their targets (ammunition depots).

Russian channel Rybar assessed the morning strike in Crimea."UAVs took off from Kryvy Rih, reached Odesa via Mykolaiv region, and there diverted to Crimea in order to confuse Russian air defense. In parallel with this, four Storm Shadow cruise missiles were launched by Su-24…

Crimean partisans report that a batch of P-800 "Onyx" missiles was destroyed at the BC warehouse near Dzhankoy, with which the artillery has been shelling Odesa and Mykolaiv for several days.

⚡️In the direction of Andriivka, south of Bakhmut, forward elements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine broke through Russian defense and are currently fighting at the outskirts of the settlement itself.

⚡️⚡️There are very positive developments coming from the Klishchiivka area of operations.

Correct. Ukrainian elements operating in this region today are the same ones that were defending the city of Bakhmut a couple of months ago.

The AFU has reportedly taken control over a large part of height 197 south of Klishchiivka. The last height and defensive stronghold for the Russians near the settlement. When fully controlled, Klishchiivka is cut off from Andriivka. Andriivka will be untennable getting attacked…

In this direction it has been expressed that the AFU are willing to trade limited territory in the name of continued offensive operations in the south. All steps are being taken to ensure that all Russian advances are slow and costly. The strategic threat remains fairly low.⚡️

Lots of reports of a Russian breakthrough in this area, but it seems to have stabilized.

looks like the counter / counter russian attack is being headed up by the 200th arctic MRB. if so this will probably be the 3-4th time its going to be destroyed. if reports are right
most of the attack has stopped, 3 brigade sized units have made a bubble facing off against 6 brigade sized units with more coming in... being hit with cluster bombs... the other russian units look stalled
⚡ Operational Intelligence ⚡The Russian breakthrough in #Luhansk has largely been contained. Importantly, the westward punch was unable to overcome Ukrainian positions on the hills. The situation is difficult but the line holds and the threat is receding.Map correction:

The map includes more than 11,600 verified entries, each marked in a different colour to mark categories such as Russian military movements, explosions and damage to civilian or military infrastructure.

Mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov reports four explosions in Tokmak, occupied Zaporizhzia region. In relation to this, there are multiple reports of RU sources that an increased amount of HIMARS launches were noted along the Zaporizhzia front.

Big update from the Russian milblogger Rybar this afternoon, looking at Ukrainian moves in Zaporizhia Oblast from the Russian POV:Ukrainian forces continue to conduct effective strikes, straining Russian fires capabilities in the area.

This is really impressive. You can click on each event and it pulls up the original source Tweet/image/video. You can also filter by date and event type.

It makes no sense to expect that there will be less russian shelling. We need a capability to destroy russian coastal missile complexes in Crimea. #ATACMS would help us 🚀

New drone footage of destroyed western Bakhmut, result of months of barbaric Russian attacks on the eastern city once home to 70,000+, myself included for more than 2 years. This is Dekabristov and Yuvileyna Streets. Apartment buildings and children’s hospital turned to rubble.

Color me shocked that a global power will do something that they perceive to be in their best interest.  I think supporting Ukraine is the right thing to do.  I also think it is in the best interest of the United States.  However, you have to be extremely naive to think that the US has always acted based on what is right when that conflicted with what was in our best interests.

I drank Gen. Petraeus' koolaid and now feel like we're 3-2 to start the season and I'm mumbling 'we still control our own destiny in conference'. What's going to change to turn the tide on this thing? I still feel like a slog favors Russia. Some viable 3rd party candidate in the US and it's Jesus take the wheel territory for me on this thing.

If it's your nature to show up here once a week and drink bleach for everyone to see, or if you're doing this intentionally for fun, can you just save us all the time and go ahead and just PM LordMelbourne/GRU or Longhornsnus/DonkeyCigars directly, please, and spare the rest of us this shit? That or just fucking go back and read the half a dozen posts on each  page that talk about how this is going to be a long AF slog, right until it isn't.

Quite a discrepancy in those two videos. The hummer was a moving target, which obviously makes it a more difficult situation, but 30+ rounds without impact vs. 1-shot/1-kill on the Russian tank. I like those numbers

Russia's biggest/only supplier is...Iran.

Ukraine's supplier is..NATO and NATO's military-industrial complex.

Out of the top 25 weapons/defense manufacturers in the world, Russia has 3 (and they are not in the top 10 and I saw one report where they've dropped out of the top 25 due to sanctions crippling them) while the rest are American, British, French, and a few German and a couple of Japanese/Korean companies.

Ukraine has retaken close to 50% of the land Russia grabbed last year.

And a fucking would-be coup that was headed to Moscow unopposed and with tanks and artillery was stopped because the guy staging it told them to back down, and yet he's still alive, walking around.

Russia is fucked.
