Russian bots have begun flooding Facebook groups with AI-generated photos of "beautiful and lovely Russia."☝️ However, there's a catch. Just take a look at those delightful faces.

^I'm not convinced those aren't just normal-looking Russians.

Helps explain why they're still able to recruit. Gotta hit them financially to take away their largest advantage and main weapon (people).

I summarized a Russian recruitment post on VK. This is what they offer people to die in Ukraine. I compared this to an average Russian pay in the central parts of Russia, 45k ruble per month. Signup bonus + WIA-disabled is a 8 year salary payout.

Russians are claiming that an ATACMS with cluster munitions was used against a “civilian” beach in Crimea, and that there were 4 dead and 125 wounded.

First off, every part of Crimea is a fucking war zone, as we’ve seen over the past few months.  Second, it’s not Russian land and any Russian civilians hanging on a beach in an active war zone are swimming in the shallow end of the gene pool.

But the bigger issue is that Russian social media showed pieces of a TOR missile which is a Russian interceptor missile.

And a wide open flat beach with Russian civilians wearing very little…color me skeptical, but an ATACMS with cluster munitions would probably kill more than four people.  We see it kill far more soldiers wearing body armor all the time, as well as wrecking vehicles.

They had a missile battery above the beach, that protects the nearby airfield.  We are supposed to believe that Ukraine was targeting a bunch of beach goers with an expensive missile from a limited supply, and not the airfield that launches attacks against Ukraine.

So when do we see NORKS heading in?

Read my mind. I’d bet we see China say, “you can send one NK corps, but that’s it.” More than that and you’d cause China to lose face, as if they couldn’t control their vassal. Even more, Lil Kim can’t spare too much of his power base.

that is kind of a cool concept. It fires standard NATO 105 rounds And is integrated on a hummer body. As it is very lightweight, it can travel quickly to an area, set up in a couple minutes, fire eight rounds, and then leave at high speed.

Spoiler

A vertical sliding breech block at the rear of the carriage structure ensures uninterrupted loading and firing of standard Nato 105mm rounds in all elevations and traversing conditions. The Hawkeye 105mm howitzer is operated by a crew of four and can be prepared for firing in less than two minutes.

The compact design of the Hawkeye MWS enables a small logistic footprint. The weapon system requires lower maintenance costs as its critical components or assemblies can be replaced at the unit level.

Armament

The M20 105mm cannon of the Hawkeye MWS is mounted on a circular platform for 360° firing. Equipped with a digital fire control system, the elevation and azimuth angles of the cannon are electronically controlled.

The 105mm gun can fire high-explosive and illumination rounds, rocket-assisted projectiles (RAP), high-explosive performed fragmented (HEPF) rounds, and smoke cartridges.

Two hydraulic jacks at the front and two large spades at the rear of the vehicle are lowered on the surface to make the system ready for firing. Hawkeye’s shoot-and-scoot capability enables the crew to escape from counter-battery fire and other aggressive and offensive actions by hostile forces.

The gun system offers a range of 11.6km with standard ammunition and 19.5km with rocket-assisted projectiles. It ensures a maximum range of 2,000m with direct fire rounds. The maximum rate of fire is eight rounds a minute for three minutes, while the sustained rate of fire of the gun is three rounds a minute.

That Hawkeye system is nuts - it came across my YouTube a while back and it's ideal for shoot and scoot fire missions like have been characteristic in the Ukraine war

Roll up, deploy the gun, dial in coordinates, and rounds fired in under 2 minutes. They're in and out with 9 rounds downrange in 4 minutes

he says that at first a grenade landed directly under his butt, fragments entered his buttocks. but he got up and threw his grenade at them. the belt of the machine gun caught on the bolt, he untangled it and finished off the russian scum
