Guys can have two hands on a ball while catching it and have it knocked out and ruled an incomplete pass all the time unless there's a different set of rules that apply to recovering fumbles.

A different set of rules does apply. No need to 'complete the process' when it's not a catch. You break the plane you get a TD Edited December 1, 20187 yr by satyanash

You don’t have to complete the catch when you’re recovering a fumble. Of course its a different set of rules.

December 1, 20187 yr Total bullshit that the chest pass is allowed. Make them throw like actual football players. This isn't pop a shot.

He had it over for a full second. That was an easy TD call. I agree Vic, but I believe that as the ball was already in the end zone the criteria for what is or is not possession comes into play. And having possession usually requires holding on to the ball just as it would in the same way a completion is defined. Whether the football move bullshit comes into the equation. With the Georgia player punching it out so quickly one could argue that the Bama player never had possession. I of course could be wrong.
