We are a 10 pt. favorite. Seems kinda high after Radford. But I know nothing about this year's VCU team.

we opened up at -7.5 and all of the money has been flowing in in favor of Texas. Kinda strange. VCU appears to suck offensively, but so do we. And FWIW VCU is rated 20 spots ahead of Radford in KenPom.

After seeing Radford lay an egg, I’m not optimistic.

Look, you just don't walk into the JMU Convocation Center and expect to walk out of there with the W.

I think we win tonight if Roach plays well.

That's basically true for every game this season.

Well I don't think we need UNC Roach to beat VCU but at least 18-20 from roach tonight.

If we get UNC Roach to show up every night we would be a legit top 10 team.

Damn, I miss one game and everyone jumped off the wagon.  It must of been bad.

Hit a 3 to start. Better than the alternative.

True, except making an early trey seems like poisoned cheese with this team.

That's our starting center. Come on Sims. That cannot happen.

for those not watching, Sims caught the ball underneath the basket with nobody within 5 feet of him, and instead of just taking the two points he puts the ball on the floor and engages the nearest defender. Too many guys like this get recruited by Shaka. He's just not a basketball player.

Sims leaves his feet on the pump fake while in zone. i hate to keep harping on the kid but he should not be starting.

It saddens me how much of a non-factor Coleman has been this season. His inability to do much off the ball limits his effectiveness.

I really had high expectations for him this year. He seemed to have the mental makeup and was very assertive by the end of last year, but instead of becoming a team leader and consistent dual threat at point guard he's mired in a sophomore slump. Really sucks.

Half-court offense isn't so much the problem as the turnovers and dumb mistakes. We're not playing smart.

I loved how he got the ball with 4 seconds left, held onto the ball for a full second before he realized he needed to move his feet and then shot it 20 feet over the backboard from half court. Is this what you’re talking about?

I am so sick of the same shit over and over again.  It's the same shit with slightly different personnel from year to year.  Maybe we can convince VCU to take Shaka back to Virginia with them.  Let's just cut our losses and hire Hoiberg.

Shaka couldn’t use one of his 4 time outs there to set up a play?   4 seconds is enough to catch a ball st mid court take three dribbles and shoot a three.

I've seen this movie before. Start the season on fire, win a big game early we aren't supposed to win, then go in the tank and look lost. I predicted we'd win 19 games this year and that may be high. We'll be lucky to go .500 in conference play.
