It's not just the AP. Every AA list is packed with SEC players this year. Understandable, as the SEC had perhaps one of its best seasons this year and was far ahead of any other conference.

Huh? The SEC was totally dominated by one team.

I mean kudos to Bama but in years past the other schools at least beat them once.

Look at the bright side.  Think how bad it would be if the SEC had not fucked up and invited South Carolina into the league instead of Clemson.

You're an idiot.

Look, I hate on the SEC as much as anyone.

Clearly not.

While it does feel like there are to many SEC players on the list, as far as Texas goes, I'm not sure we have anyone who _should_ be on the list.  Sam had a nice year, as did Lil'Jordan,  C. Johnson,  and a few guys on D, but there wasn't really anyone this year that felt "All-American".

I don't think anyone's arguing for the inclusion of any Longhorns on this list.

That said, most of the SEC players who made All-America are studs.

Some of the players on that list are tough misses - Eno Benjamin, Rondale Moore, Grant Delpit.  Hindsight's 20/20 and all....

there was no scenario under the Sun where Delpit was not going to LSU.
