Walt Anderson.

Phillip Rivers is a badass. Some of those throws he made tonight were hall of fame type stuff.

Unicorn. An enjoyable NFL game..

Rivers & receivers not named Keenan Allen made some nice clutch plays.

That's unreal. Wasting away in san Diego with like 8 kids. Hope he can get a ring.

Chiefs Oline pretty much blew chunks tonight.

But Rivers was clutch city in taking advantage of KC's dumbassery. I can see how he competed 25 straight earlier this year - he is accurate as hell.

If they blew chunks what did the chargers line blow?

lol

but I think they blew kisses to the crowd as they walked out of there with the W

Something to think about for the playoffs - all 3 Chiefs losses have been night games.

KC defense is a dumpster fire
I have a feeling they are going to lay an egg in the playoffs as usual.

Dayum that was awesome. Rivers is a badass wish he had not pissed away most of his career playing for that shit franchise.

KC was a 3 headed monster of Mahomes, Tyreek Hill and Kareem Hunt, with due respect to TE Kelsey.  Defense is average or worse. Now one of the heads is gone and the offense can be stopped because the running game isn't electric anymore. Hunt gave them the superlative edge in the running attack. Mahomes can't carry a mediocre/bad oline on every drive. Maybe KC loses one more and also the HFA (if they still have it), paving the way for a Rivers-Brady showdown for the AFC.

The Chargers may be the best team no one in Los Angeles has ever seen...

Disagree, and Lulz with due respecting Kelce. Williams, the third back, averaged 4.6 ypc last night and had 7 catches for 74 yards. RB is the most overrated position in the NFL.

The Chiefs can be stopped right now because Hill is at 60% and Watkins is hurt. It doesn't matter whether they run Ware or Williams out there in the playoffs, as long as Hill, Kelce, and Watkins are healthy and clicking, teams are going to have to boat race KC in order to beat them.

Let's tap the brakes a little....i like the Chargers a lot right now but let's see Rivers actually deliver in the playoffs before we pencil them in for the AFCCG....

Hunt is better and more explosive , more big time, than any of those players.

This makes two games this year that, while the Chiefs shot themselves in the foot, they never would have had the gun in their hands to begin with if the officials would do their job.  The Rams game (Goff touchdown run where the right offensive tackle left before the snap--not to be confused with every other Rams offensive play that night where he also jumped before the snap, and then managed to both hold and stick his hands into Dee Ford's facemask and none of the three penalties were called ended up being the difference between winning and losing.) and last night (absolute farce of a defensive holding call on Sorenson after the Chiefs had held the Chargers on third down led directly to their first touchdown two plays later that ended up being the difference in the game.)

On the bright side I guess,  I won't have to listen to national talking heads vomit up the "it's hard to beat a team three times in one season" cliche when the playoffs start now.

The d-line, Houston, and Ford on the pass rush are killer.  The problem is neither inside linebacker nor anyone in the secondary can cover anybody.  The problem is then compounded by neither inside linebacker nor anyone in the secondary being able to tackle anyone either.  Kirk Douglass has a better chance of tackling a running back or slot receiver in the flat than a Chiefs safety does.

Make up call for the free hits to the head the Chiefs got that drive.

You're conveniently forgetting the phantom hold that extended one of your touchdown drives.

The refs just sucked last night, both ways.

The nfl has too many reviews and too many rules. The refs cant keep up and makes for a sloppy, slow game. I have tuned out several times this season and almost did last night. Had the Chargers been at midfield, I would have turned the game off. The last set of plays - a no call, then a make up call... had that gone into overtime, it's just more time for the refs to stumble around in confusion. Glad the Chargers went for 2

I hated that they missed the obvious targeting call for Rivers. It was missed and it was unfortunately just a legit mistake by the refs.

To then compound the issue by issuing a "make up" phantom PI call was straight up bush league. It's a fucking bad look. When you start doing the make up call thing it fucks everything up. Officials should be fired for that trash.

Walt Anderson shouldn't have been hired in the first place; instead he got promoted (I assume) from CFB to NFL.

The NFL is a league where as soon as a player loses a step he's cut for a younger, better player. If a coach has a losing season he's on a hot seat.

But the refs are allowed to continually bungle huge, game changing decisions with no repercussions. No interest shown to get the most capable people into those positions.

It's bullshit.

Make up call for a made up call to correct a fuckup probably.

Funny how it always works out for old Walt to look incompetent while defiantly altering the outcome of the games.

The Chargers have won home playoff games a lot more recently than KC. When is their last home playoff win, the 90s? Chargers usually lose on the road, meaning to a better team. The one time I remember them actually choking was 2006 when they went 14-2 with Tomlinson and Rivers. I think the Pats beat them.

When they came out and said they were looking at what is a catch and what isn't, then I truly knew they were lost.

How ‘bout that Anthony Lynn guy...?   He’s quietly doing one hellova job with the Bolts.

And his wife works for a news station in NY or some shit. They see each other like two days every two weeks, that’s a power move.

CFB is far worse than the NFL with the amount of Reviews it goes through.

The only chance a CFB game is ending in less than 4 hours is if two triple option teams play each other.

the only thing to make me happier than an LA vs LA superbowl would be a LA vs Dallas Superbowl.

The rams are getting some pseudo love in town, but ive seen literally no chargers love anywhere, im sure most don't know they exist, and for a non football town, it would thumb thier nose to this place to have both squads in

It was ticky-tacky AF, but on the PI call the defender impeded the receiver's ability to bring his hand up and attempt a two-handed catch. That's PI. I'd prefer shit like that not be called. But it's not like it was a phantom call. There was contact by the defender which negatively impacted the receiver's ability to go up and get the ball.
