Russia, where’s the Novichok when you really need it?

Here’s hoping the windows in his hotel room are secure, would be a shame if he “accidentally” fell out of one.

Apparently you don’t understand how Russian intelligence works. Tucker is an asset. He couldn’t be safer in Moscow.

Exactly. Putin doesn’t want to kill Tucker. He wants to honor him for all the good work he does for Mother Russia.

David Axelrod on Tucker Carlson's visit to Moscow:“When I first heard he was there, I assumed he was there to get an award. There isn’t an American who has done more for Vladimir Putin than Tucker Carlson.”

I don’t know how much clearer the situation can be. Johnson has found a reason to nix every single Ukraine funding bill, and as they are killing the Senate bill, Tucker pops up in Ukraine.

Look for all the lines from this interview to pop up in the mouths of the Freedom Caucus and MAGA-land.  Ukraine aid is over, Trump decided it.

Full blown puppet piece …

Russian propagandists describe Tucker Carlson's visit to Moscow: "wonders of civilization that U.S. citizens cannot even dream of."Dear US followers, how are you coping? :) https://t.co/pxhIz62bJ7

Yeah, if there were a man in this scenario, that would suck for him.

I wish the Ukrainians were sending a fleet of drones at this fucking traitor.

I dunno, a vodka filled lunch followed by watching skinny women in tights dance around sounds better than the usual 110-degree Northwest Oklahoma State game in mid-September.

When the Kremlin arranges trips to the ballet for their guests part of the package is often meeting the ballerinas which does not suck. Well, it does but……

Cool, then I'm sure Tucker got lots of fabulous autographs.

Like George Bernard Shaw before him, Tucker Carlson is probably wondering how such beautiful, young "ballerinas" with perfect english just pop up everywhere in Moscow, eager to get him into intimate, compromising positions.

It's kind of Tucker's thing, his jam, his brand.

This is way up on the weird shit that seems unbelievable list for the past 8 years.  And there's a fuck ton of stuff on that list.

Imagine being such a pathological liar that even the Kremlin - the fucking Kremlin - feels the need to call you out.

For Tucker '1st Amendment' Carlson's attention:This Russian's sole alleged crime in Belgorod is some online post in support of Ukraine. But of course Tucker Carlson, the fascist, knows all of this. I'm just sad to see how many Americans are gullible enough to fall for his act.

Has it occurred to any of you that Tucker might be one of the good guys and he’s over in Russia to steal one of their cool new fighter jets?

Hopefully he will meet the group that is assassinating Russian air force big shots

Tucker Carlson in Moscow: “I really do like it. I’m not just saying it. Why do I feel guilty like I'm betraying my country?”

#3190
The fact that Tucker Carlson isn’t even bothering to hide an ideological alliance with Putin or Orbán tells you everything you need to know about the GOP and the troubling state of our political environment. It’s time to get serious about this. Past time.

#3192

Tucker Carlson is a non-zero chance of being a Russian asset and over here we have people believing Taylor Swift is some sort of Pentagon psy-op.

Tucker made $20 million+ per year for several years at Fox, plus whatever he gets for his side grifts, plus his family is very wealthy to begin with.  It can’t even be about the money at this point.

Maybe he’s compromised, but I think he’s just worked himself into becoming an actual Russian sympathizer fascist, for some reason.   All his years of trying to be a normal George Will type journalist and getting humiliated time after time broke him.  Then he leaned into quackery, which worked for him for a while, but then that ultimately ended in failure, too.  So, now he turns to … treason?

You don’t need to be an “agent” to be an asset.  The Russians are skillful, sometimes more than us, at exploiting what people really need and want.

Tucker is driven by resentment and anger at the elites who reject him. He tried to join the CIA and wasn’t wanted or taken seriously.  He tried to be an important and thoughtful journalist and commentator and was laughed at.  He thought he had respect from the Murdochs and the elite conservative class but they tossed him overboard.

And finally, the Russians.  Who will tell him he is not just a real journalist, he’s the only real one. The one man in the West who might make a difference, who might shape history. The only one who can be trusted to tell the story of Vladimir Putin, the man with his finger on the button.  The Tsar of All Russia.

It’s an old ploy. Despotic flattery.

This.  Don't overthink it.

And no, there is nothing inherently wrong with interviewing a world leader -- even (maybe especially) a despotic, shitty one.  What there is a LOT wrong with is doing so in order to be a fawning simp and simply amplifying that leader's message instead of questioning and challenging it.  Which direction do you think Tucker will go?  Yeah, a real shocker there.

Lulz:

This is a hilarious shit show. Putin is now 28 minutes into his history lesson. This is the 3rd time Tucker tries to interrupt and Putin mocks Tucker for just being an entertainer and not a serious journalist. Tucker tries to fake laugh it off while Putin emasculates him.

Hardy har har:

46 minutes into his history lesson, Putin stops to mock Tucker for applying to the CIA when he was younger and getting rejected.
