How about this guy?  I always remembered Justin Gimelstob as the guy who leapt for volleys and dropshots, not as a psycho.

Gimelstob: total psycho.  Who knew?

The controversy surrounding Gimelstob is getting worse. Players are starting to take sides. Notably, the 'old guard' (Djokovic, Federer) seem reluctant to go after him harshly or give more than canned, predictable responses.

It was the 182nd-ranked Antonia Lottner. Also holy shit, Tara Moore recovered from a 0-6 0-5 match-point deficit to beat Jessica Ponchet: https://www.bbc.com/sport/tennis/47871628

Barty over Collins 6-1, 1-6, 6-1 in 82 minutes. Ain't gonna gonna see many 3-setters in that timeframe.

Sidenote, Collins may be my current favorite player to "watch". Her body is stellar.

Ferrer playing his possible final match against RBA on TC now.

Federer takes the first set over Gasquet 6-2. Looking rusty, but none the worse for wear so far.

Looks like this will be it for Ferrer's career.

Bencic-Osaka is crazy rn. Bencic broke back to level the set 5-5 and Osaka went to town on her racquet.

Warinka also broke Nishikori, and Federer's form has dropped off now after handing Monfils a first-set bagel.

Belinda takes it! Came back from a 3-5 deficit in the final set to stun Osaka.

Uh-oh...

monfils wins the second at 4.

This is bad stuff from Federer. He's going to lose the way he's playing. Lost all of his aggressiveness.

he looks like he's playing in mud.  can't get the ball to do what he wants because he's always a half step late.

and fed's through to the quarters.  took the 3rd set in a tiebreaker at 3.

With Federer's win over Monfils today, he's now at 1,200 career wins.

Fed takes the first @ 3.

aaand here comes second-set Federer... three straight UEs.

Hoping this isn't a repeat of the IW final.

Insane second-set tiebreak happening right now between Fed and Thiem

Down goes Federer. Ironically this was the best match he played all tournament. Thiem kept ratcheting up the pressure and hit absolutely ridiculous shots on key points.

The sistas lined up to play R2 in Rome. Who will withdraw first?

Both of Federer's squandered match points against Thiem. He's now lost 21 career matches where he's held at least one MP.

Not only is this extremely rare, but check out where in the match it happened.

Kiki went on to win, dropping Simona to 18-17 in career finals.

Djokovic is about to win Madrid without having to play Federer or Nadal. Never would have seen that coming.

Heading to my first big tournament in August. I’m gonna be in Montreal for a few days and plan on spending one day and/or night at the Masters event there. Any tips or things I need to know to get the most out of the experience?  Night vs day etc.

3 & 4 for Novak.

Novak and Nadal are basically even at this point in terms of Masters' 1000 success.

Novak should finish with more pretty comfortably. He may end his career with 40+

Actually, Mertens should beat Venus anyway.

Welp, Venus and Serena both won their first round matches sooooooo.

Who's withdrawing?

Venus blew 8 MPs from 5-1 to a breaker, then Mertens couldn’t close the deal. That would have been a much better R2.
