Gimelstob: total psycho. Who knew? The controversy surrounding Gimelstob is getting worse. Players are starting to take sides. Notably, the 'old guard' (Djokovic, Federer) seem reluctant to go after him harshly or give more than canned, predictable responses.
May 6, 20196 yr Author Barty over Collins 6-1, 1-6, 6-1 in 82 minutes. Ain't gonna gonna see many 3-setters in that timeframe. Sidenote, Collins may be my current favorite player to "watch". Her body is stellar.
May 7, 20196 yr Federer takes the first set over Gasquet 6-2. Looking rusty, but none the worse for wear so far.
May 9, 20196 yr Bencic-Osaka is crazy rn. Bencic broke back to level the set 5-5 and Osaka went to town on her racquet. Warinka also broke Nishikori, and Federer's form has dropped off now after handing Monfils a first-set bagel.
May 9, 20196 yr This is bad stuff from Federer. He's going to lose the way he's playing. Lost all of his aggressiveness.
May 9, 20196 yr he looks like he's playing in mud. can't get the ball to do what he wants because he's always a half step late.

May 10, 20196 yr Down goes Federer. Ironically this was the best match he played all tournament. Thiem kept ratcheting up the pressure and hit absolutely ridiculous shots on key points. Edited May 10, 20196 yr by satyanash
May 10, 20196 yr Both of Federer's squandered match points against Thiem. He's now lost 21 career matches where he's held at least one MP. Edited May 10, 20196 yr by satyanash
May 11, 20196 yr Author Not only is this extremely rare, but check out where in the match it happened. Kiki went on to win, dropping Simona to 18-17 in career finals.
May 11, 20196 yr Djokovic is about to win Madrid without having to play Federer or Nadal. Never would have seen that coming.
May 11, 20196 yr Heading to my first big tournament in August. I’m gonna be in Montreal for a few days and plan on spending one day and/or night at the Masters event there. Any tips or things I need to know to get the most out of the experience? Night vs day etc.

May 14, 20196 yr Author Venus blew 8 MPs from 5-1 to a breaker, then Mertens couldn’t close the deal. That would have been a much better R2.

May 14, 20196 yr Nadal and Djokovic both have a 29% forecasted chance to win Rome. Federer is next with a 10% chance. https://www.ultimatetennisstatistics.com/inProgressEventForecast?inProgressEventId=31
