Looking at the OC hires that UNC & FSU made this offseason, is it safe to say that Manny Diaz's OC hire for Miami is underwhelming?

who needs offense when you have a Manny Diaz defense!

For the second straight year, Miami’s prospects hinge primarily on the QB position. The Canes will have another dangerous defense, and the offensive skill corps has everything you need. Granted, the line is a question mark, but if Perry, Martell, or Williams can provide reasonably solid efficiency and decision-making, Miami is once again in position to win a lot of games.

Even with their offense projected just 60th overall (they were 66th last year), the Canes are projected favorites in 11 of 12 games this fall. After the season opener against Florida (in which they are a 10.7-point projected underdog), they don’t play anyone projected higher than 28th, and they are favored by at least 7.6 points in nine games. They get Virginia Tech and Virginia, probably the two most dangerous Coastal rivals this season, at home in Hard Rock Stadium in back-to-back weeks. The table is set for a strong record and division title run.

Of course, the table was last year, too, and Miami went 7-6. It seems the most dangerous thing Miami can do is actually have expectations. We’ll see if Diaz can change that.

He definitely in the right habitat for the kind of tackling he wants to do

Perhaps not, but his coach sure is. Bronco knows how to let his horses loose against a manny efense.

Miami sucks so bad I am looking on wiki to see when it was they left the Big 12 to get away from Texas...I mean they are so mired in suck at this point they had to have "gotten away from Texas" at some point (or maybe the curse of the Cotton Bowl 🤬 )

The end of their game was pretty funny.  They got an extra second like the Horns in the Big 12 championship game, after the refs said through their mics the game was over...only to throw an incompletion on the extra play.  ESPN switched to GA-TN after the initial announcement and didn't switch back for the Canes' last chance.

He’s a fraud.  Won’t last very long

I missed this in all the excitement of drawing Utah in the Alamo Bowl-- Miami plays Louisiana Tech in the Independence Bowl.

Well done, Miami!

I hope that program never bounces back.

It's not so much the food, as it is the phrase,  "Hot Dog Delight."

That sounds like a GDGD audible, during which DJ Monroe is told to run 5 yards backwards and do a headstand.

Looks like being a Richt social media follower is disappointing and underwhelming so at least he achieves consistency in the experience he delivers.

Looks worse than a full English breakfast.

Given that everything is worse than a full English breakfast, this is accurate.

Don't get me wrong, I'd eat the shit out of that after a night out. But as a birthday dinner, it's definitely underwhelming.

it's like one step from having to sing "Happy Birthday" to yourself because you don't have any friends or family left

important Richt update

So retirement seems depressing

With his coaching record, he ought to steer clear of choking hazards

Is that a can of Beanie Weenies on a roll covered with ketchup?  Southern cooking ain't what it used to be.
