Bitter <> Sour

I don't like really bitter or sour, but if you ever find yourself up in BC give Musical Bumps a try

In my experience they're usually dry hopped golden sours.

Some are pretty damn tasty, and some aren't at all.

I read that wrong and did a big old double take.

So stuck in NYC in the financial district for the next week and a half, any good recs? Here's the highlight of the night.85c22ae6e0f8426cf2cf0174e79b4054.jpg

Other Half is all I can think of. Probably some Allagash around.

I’m sure you guys will hate the serving board, but all of these beers are great.

Every American Solera beer I’ve had has been strong to quite strong in terms of quality.

Agreed. One of the IPAs was a bit too sweet, but the sours were excellent, and the other IPA was too.

Welltown. Beers aren’t American Solera good, but definitely don’t suck, but there are literally 6 people here in a cool space. Don’t get it.

Making a beer run in Plano in a couple hours.

Looking for Dallas/Texas pils and IPA recs.

Let one of the DFW guys chime in.

Mosaic - Community is what I think of for DFW IPA.

Lakewood has an IPA and Pils that were both good not great.

10/6 - Rabbit Hole is an Eng IPA I really liked.
LongRange Pils - Revolver should be easy to find. Light and not as bitter as I prefer, but a good drink.

I’ve had Community Mosaic back in my trading days. Damn good beer.

Thanks for the suggestions!

We’re at something called Legacy Hall watching games, and there’s a Plano brewery on tap who’s pils is hitting the damn spot70579618fe4a543f191569706e934792.jpg

Enjoyed quite a few ABW invisible hand in BBRSP over spring break

Cisco is incredibly far down the list of places where I would expect a brewery, but here we are.

It’s nothing that special, especially for a double, but it’s certainly very drinkable.

Moonraker is exceptional, imo.

Moonraker might be my favorite brewery in CA right now. And that includes the heavy hitters.

I should have checked canning dates because this Community is ass

I just tried their hazy stuff, but god damn it was good.

So, jumped the LIRR to visit the fam on L.I, and hit up a few breweries and a cidery. Did North Fork Brewery first, and Run The Juice was legit. Then the Cider, nothing worth noting. Now at Mustache Brewery, and I've got the last pour of DJ Night, damn good! Cousins got Scorpion drawer, still legit!119258a6e3e2a08e82495400e08f43e1.jpg66eacd28df11b0626af8f54d0dc66138.jpg

Alefort. Fremont Brew 3000, Coconut Bbomb, Melvin Hazy IPAs, IMO.

You my friend, are doing it right.

Did you get try HenHouse while you were up in Santa Rosa? I love their beer but haven't been to the brewhouse because we always end up going to RR.

Last vacation beer, imo. Sierra Nevada Hazy Little Thing.

Drove down to San Marcos yesterday to check out the new H&G space. Nothing special on tap so we headed down to Middleton. First time there and enjoyed everything we had. Last stop was Roughhouse, a mile down the road. I guess they just opened in December. Beautiful property and taproom. A lot of outdoor space for the kids too. If anyone is in the area I recommend both.
