Most of these storms are mid-level rotation, not dropping wall cloud but these are some serious storms.

is the excessive rain this year being triggered from the ash rising to the atmosphere from the concentration camps on our border?  Like volcanoes creating storms when the erupt?

Jim Spencer just said that a viewer report has 80 people aboard and taking on water at Lake Buchanan.

Seriously?  Texas River Cruise boat with 80 people on it in the middle of this shit in Lake Buchanan???? Fucking really?

Pouring critters here in Brushy Creek west of Round Rock. Guesstimated winds gusting around 30-35 knots.

Son in Hutto got a little wind & medium rain showers. Said the worst looked over in Taylor.

Shit getting real. Oaks getting a work out. Don’t expect any peaches left.

I'm going south on 35 from dallas, just hit RR. Nothing but rain yet. Just now getting heavy rain at the outlets

Been driving through this storm for two hours. Was in graham tx for a wedding and driving back to Austin. Multiple tornado warnings. We finally pulled over In Leander to eat and wait it out. This storm is fucking crazy.

Jesus that is terrifying

45 mph easily greeted us with the squall line in Bee Cave.  Noadic rain of course...  but it's moving fast, so probably not a big flood concern, though certainly some low water crossings...

The Spence says everyone on that boat made it safely onto an island.  What a clusterfuck, but at least they're (hopefully) OK.

Over in serene hills.  It’s rocking and rolling here.  It looks like we’re taking the house through a car wash.

Was the Skipper wearing red shorts?

Probably the fastest method to sober up ever invented.

Some crazy fun is 78757. Neighbors Croos the street appear to have lost power.

The 2nd coming of Christ has commenced in NW Hays Co. Repent

It is coming down hard in Manchaca. Dang! I've got wings out in the smoker that are done and need to come out.

Pouring in 78759 with thunder about once a minute, but no hail.

I finished up my chicken and sausage at 6:30, thankfully.  Nasty here in 78748.

I have a nice lightning shot from a video that I took.  But, I'm one of those that doesn't know how to post a picture.

Just went clean up all the shit that blew out of my recycling bin when the lid flew open, and just managed to pull my trash/recycling/compost up the curb before they got swept away.  And then someone else's compost bin came barreling down the street.  So now I got two compost bins on my lawn.

Tree fell down in yard. Most missed house. Gutter or roof could be fucked. We will see

Shit

Yep.  Bunch of friends in that area with tons of downed trees (and that area is all old as, monster trees) power out everywhere, fucked up cars, etc

I live in NW Dallas. Was up in the Frisco area when the storm started rolling in. That was one of the fastest, nastiest, non-tornado storms I’ve ever seen. There were two 60 foot trees toppled over in my neighborhood and probably 15 smaller trees destroyed when I got home (sat out the storm in a parking garage thankfully).

I had a plant knocked over in my backyard in SW Austin. You never think it's going to happen to you, but then it does.

She told me a lot of the medical offices on 75 between Forest and 635 are missing most of their windows.

This was about 30 seconds before the wind hit and the neighbor's shit started flying across my yard.

Hey PhD,

That storm just pushed through from the north and heading south in a hurry. After it slacked off, we left our friends’ house and just saw the flags at an apt complex flying straight north. Why do it do that?

East Round Rock, we may have had more leaves blown off the trees than drops of rain.  Concrete never got completely wet.  Heavy shit on both sides of us, and we just got some 40 mph winds and a trace of rain.  Crazy.

DFW airport is an absolute cluster. We had 5 gate changes, touring terminals A, C, and D today...the concourses were a constantly swirling sea of people, everyone we talked to had at least two gate changes. I’m used to delays, cancellations, etc with bad weather here but I’ve never seen the sheer number of gate changes people are being out through.

Been here since 1230p waiting to catch our flight to Austin. Starting to wonder if it’s just going to get canceled.

Dude, why didn’t you say fuck it earlier & just get a car and drive?

North Dallas was crazy this afternoon. I was on the road and had to stop because I couldn't see past my own bumper. I've been through a tornado and this was the strongest storm I've ever send besides that. Diving around Belt Line, Arapaho and Campbell afterwards there are trees down everywhere, lots of spots where trees are blocking 2 or 3 lanes on those major roads. My parents reported asphalt buckling on Arapaho. Lots of fences down, car ports trashed, at least one garage I saw lost a roof and another had it's garage door blown in. Fretz Park Library had it's windows blown in. It's supposed to be another 24 hours or so before we get power back. Thankfully, I have family staying with me!7571ef0cb2a8d094b44f4e1066d48982.jpg5d024461d473d3ab53467eb6ca1a74a0.jpg8e188c08ede6c93aba2f6d887a5ccf8a.jpged479f0121940776d37ee86f340388a6.jpg091f0fb0bddb23e1ac2588dbc019e17f.jpg3dda76142712f5913a27b68a65bb5966.jpg12b4f6d7d7acccbd40191f52427dce5c.jpg

San Antonio’s force field appears to be engaged and I couldn’t be happier.  Don’t need any of that craziness.
