I’m across the street from galleria and was being an idiot on the patio when all of a sudden the winds got strong as fuck. Blew my damn patio door open hard as hell, couldn’t imagine being any closer.

Could you hear the sirens broadcasting someone talking?  I had never heard that before and it was creepy as fuck.

I heard sirens but no talking.  Shit, I would have really freaked out if I heard that.

Hearing the Central Market at Preston/Royal is fucked up. Wife said news said gym at St Mark’s on fire. Jefferson HS has some damage. Home Depot at Forest fucked too.

I didn’t hear that but agree that would be a little creepy

House across the street is on fire from an apparent lightning strike in Richardson.

Where in Richardson? I'm in Richardson Heights. Neighbors have a transformer on fire but the fire department can't get to it yet. Huge oak trees down here, looks as bad as that July storm.

Saw some rumor that house in all the pics (as posted above) is Tyler Seguins?  Going to be tons of rumors obviously though so not really buying it.

East side.  Cops said everything south of Belt Line in Richardson is fucked to some degree.

I heard it was dirk’s.

Thank gosh all the trees got mowed down or they would be littered with bodies.

oh shit. i know someone who lives right in the middle of that. gonna make some late calls just in case...

I’m on the fence with this.  I’m in austin and I can’t do shit to help anyone in dallas.  I want to call and hear from certain people but it won’t make a difference if I call them in the morning, and they may be dealing with lots of shit right now.  so I’ll call in the morning.

same here. they are literally right in the middle of the red on that google map posted above.

We are about to get buttfucked again.

Seguin can crash at my place.  Benn can fuck off since he has been straight trash so far this season.

Tornadoes hate white people.

All hell is breaking lose here in Frisco now.. Very, very strong winds in this squall line.

We have friends in Highland Park that have trees down and their roof is fucked.  They heard sirens, but don't know if it was just high winds or actual edge of the tornado.

Lots of shit going on.

Shit, that's scary. The track was basically two major streets north of us (Lovers/Midway/Lemmon).

Unreal. (But that guy is a fucking idiot.)

That was some intense shit that just blew through central FW. If that hits north Dallas similarly then damn

Shit is getting real by Love Field again now.

This squall line is not fucking around. There's one t-storm warning currently that extends from Lake Tawakoni down to south of Cleburne. That's just nuts.

Also randomly, a tornado warning way down south in Cameron County? Weird, crazy weather night.

ESD and St. Marks are closed tomorrow too.

It used to have an EAST & WEST WALL, but apparently it no longer does.

And the St. Mark's Chapel bell tower didn't used to look like this.

This squaw line just hit Hewitt/WACO.  Holy fuck!!  70 mph straight line winds if not much worse.

Been seeing lots of posts on FB; roofer buddy was headed from D/FW back to Texarkana & got knocked off the road, into a ditch.

I blame myself. Booked a hotel room tonight across from that Home Depot for tomorrow night. Check the news.....oops. It's gone. Obviously no one answering at the hotel.

I’m posted up at Harry Hines and Walnut Hill. This area is a disaster zone. Tons of debris all over. Harry Hines is completely impassable from Walnut Hill down to Northwest Highway.

All Richardson ISD schools closed for Monday.

Crazy ass thunder last night in FW. Our bedroom window is sort offset in our patio so you can’t hear much from outside but the thunder I heard was super fucking loud. I just hope that if we ever have to be able to hear the sirens, that we can. Hope all the surly Dallasites are all ok this morning

Assembling the reports, it appears that the tornado started just north of Love Field, which would mean north of NW Hwy, crossed the tollroad between Walnut Hill and Royal, and crossed 75 at Forest.

It shouldn't have done much in Highland Park proper (south of Mockingbird) or UP (south of NW Hwy).

The later-night, earlier morning winds were more dramatic.  Except:  Right in the midst of the sirens as the tornado was being reported at the tollroad, it was eerily still.  And we lost power so we couldn't hear the fucking weather dude freaking out.  No data, either.  So that was fun.

IIRC @luke duke lives in the area affected.  Check in, friendo.

I live at royal and 75. It sounded crazy and shook my apartment building some. The sky was lighting up green when the lightening struck.

My non-expert opinion while being out there, it had to be a f-2/small f-3 with the damage I saw.

Yeah it appears to have set down for quite a ways on Royal.

Forgive me, it was 2:30 in the morning, dumping rain, my dog had to shit so bad that she still went out in the rain and lightning, I was tired as shit and somehow I got from squall to squaw on my iPhone.  Fuck.

Saw somewhere it might be his old house that he's trying to sell. Who knows?

That’s what the news quoted him as saying this morning. Empty, up for sale.

Looking at the destruction around town, I’m absolutely amazed there aren’t a ton of confirmed fatalities already
