June 2, 20187 yr Yeah, I never thought I’d expect Tiger to miss most of his 6 footers. And he misses another one on 18. Edited June 2, 20187 yr by 4th&Five

It isn't just his putting, it just CURRENTLY happens to be his putting. I think a change in scenery would do him some good. Dude constantly looks like he needs a stiff drink. This man is correct and the evidence keeps showing up. He needs a Haney or Harmon, someone of there ilk to kick him in the ass to get his head straight. For the Cam Lovers. He can keep him on retainer.
June 3, 20187 yr He's already paid Cam back for everything he's ever done for him. Cam is set for life now.
June 3, 20187 yr Author Sunday forecast solid chance of mid-day rain so they are moving up the tee times and going in threesomes off of 1 and 10.
June 3, 20187 yr I'm not sure how anyone could play a round of golf with Cuntley without pushing him into a pond. Hit the damn ball. I don't need a stopwatch to know how slow he is playing. I can tell by the number of sandwiches I can make before he hits his shot.
June 3, 20187 yr Author FYI the pga tour app is showing live coverage right now. The tv stuff is tape delay at this point. Golf channel had some early live coverage when Tiger teed off this morning but switched to Italian Open and then went back to tape delayed. When cbs comes on air the tournament will just about be over in real time.
June 3, 20187 yr Yes, that's what I've been watching all day. Trying not to spoil it for anyone. Let's just say that the narrative of hitting the fairways on this course is a must to win is not exactly holding up right now. As I type this your leader is on the 15th hole and he hasn't hit a fairway since the 2nd hole. And I still want to hammer tent stakes into Cantlay's feet for his Sergioish waggle fest on every shot of his. Edited June 3, 20187 yr by EMAWesome
June 3, 20187 yr Author Bizarre coverage. The app stopped a few mins ago. CBS comes on and continues to show the live coverage with 2 holes to go. Then I guess they will go back and replay earlier action.
June 3, 20187 yr In the ladies U.S. Open, some Asian had a 7 shot lead going into the back 9. Now in a a playoff with some other Asian.
June 4, 20187 yr In the ladies U.S. Open, some Asian had a 7 shot lead going into the back 9. Now in a a playoff with some other Asian. Ratings must have been sky high
June 4, 20187 yr I was 5 feet away from him during this yesterday. He got pissed because the rules official wasn't going to let him drop again because "we already went through this".. That's what got him fired up. What the tv coverage didn't catch after he finally had a ball in play was him berating Grellar for not talking to him before hitting his next shot. Then, he fired off the comment about not filming his shot to the crowd.. I'm done with this kid's attitude. I get the situation sucked and he was playing bad. But he needs to grow the fuck up and quit taking it out on everyone else. The only other ass hat yesterday happened to be Hossler. Petulant child..What did Hossler do?Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

June 21, 20187 yr RIP to Hubert Green Us older golfers know how good he was. Two majors including one with a death threat during the round and a bunch of other wins. One of the very few to win three in a row and he"owned" his swing. The Senior Tour is pretty much the last place you will see pros with homemade swings that work. Followed him a few times at the Senior event in Austin and he was absolutely a grinder - he knew how to get the ball in the hole - a member of the Golf HOF
June 22, 20187 yr yeah...so just booked tix to paris at the end of september to go to ryder cup...should be kinda awesome.
June 23, 20187 yr Ton of great tweets on this guy last few days. It’s totally real and spectacular. He was leading yesterday
June 23, 20187 yr I didn’t think these long counter balanced putters that Kay against the arm were supposed to go past the elbow. Dechambeau’s goes past his elbow
June 24, 20187 yr Death, taxes, and Paul Casey blowing the lead on Sunday. One of only about a dozen players who is not under par today.

Your comment on "The Senior Tour is pretty much the last place you will see pros with homemade swings that work...." Any chance you watched the tourney today? Bubba says Hi. June 26, 20187 yr Author Bryson DeChambeau (Golf Digest article):During Saturday's coverage of the Travelers Championship, cameras caught Bryson DeChambeau employing a compass during his walk around TPC River Highlands. Depending on where you reside on the DeChambeau Continuum—which sounds like something that will one day win him the Nobel Prize—the moment was either an amusing anecdote or an indictment on his analytical approach to the game. Apparently the PGA Tour had a different take: It might be against the rules. At least, that's according to DeChambeau, who told reporters following his final round in Cromwell that the tour is concerned about the instrument's use.“They said we just want to let you know we’re investigating this device and seeing if it’s allowable or not,” DeChambeau said following a two-under 68 on Sunday. “It wouldn’t be the first time this has happened.DeChambeau stated he uses the compass to determine "true pin locations," noting that they are off every so often. The 24-year-old remarked he's been using the tool in tour events since 2016.“It’s been used for a long, long time,” DeChambeau said. “People are saying it’s an unusual device, that’s at least what the tour’s saying.“It’s funny people take notice when you start playing well.”Which raises a question: What rule is DeChambeau possibly breaking? The law ostensibly in play is Rule 14-3, which bans the use of any artificial device or unusual equipment for the purpose of gauging or measuring distance or conditions that might affect his play. This prohibits players from using items like rangefinders that have activated a feature that calculates the affect of slope on distance. Also, outlined in Appendix IV, under Rule 14-3, an artificial device is not allowed if it provides “recommendations that might assist the player in making a stroke or in his play [e.g., club selection, type of shot to be played, green reading or any other advice related matter]." Fickle things, those golf rules. In that regard, DeChambeau is in violation, right? Not necessarily. The Rules of Golf specifically addresses compass use—God bless the lawyer with the foresight to scribe that down in the book. Believe it or not, the guidelines allow their use:14-3/4 Use of Compass During RoundQ. A player uses a compass during a stipulated round to help determine the direction of the wind or the direction of the grain in the greens. Is the player in breach of Rule 14-3?A. No. A compass only provides directional information and does not gauge or measure variable conditions or assist the player in his play. However, that covers the navigational instrument and not the geometry device. A call to the USGA didn't provide much clarity, as the tournament didn't fall under its jurisdiction and thus did not want to comment on the matter. But a veteran rules official, on the condition of anonymity, told Golf Digest that DeChambeau doesn't appear to be breaking any rules."Read 14-3. It’s not helping him choose a club or do anything that is against the rules," the official said. "He is trying to find the exact spot in the book the hole is located. That would not be a breach of 14–3."I can’t see that he’s getting any sort of information that isn’t publicly available."So why the interest in DeChambeau's compass? Perhaps it has to do with the heightened focus on green-reading materials. Last May, the USGA and R&A released a joint statement that the entities would be investigating the legality of such materials. Though a change was not reflected in the revised Rules of Golf set to go into effect in 2019, it remains an issue the bodies want to address. DeChambeau simply could have fallen into this crossfire.UPDATE: The tour sent the following regarding its investigation in DeChambeau:"Bryson DeChambeau’s use of a compass to make notations on exact hole location in his greens book came to light during Saturday’s round at the Travelers Championship, and PGA Tour Rules Officials met with Bryson after the round. After consulting with the USGA, there is no clear precedent on the use of a compass in this manner and it is not currently prohibited under the Rules of Golf. The USGA is reviewing the matter, with our feedback, and is expected to make a ruling on its conformity with the Rules soon."

June 30, 20187 yr The first year they had the featured group coverage at The Masters, they didn't have commentators.. It was just golfer.. caddy.. patrons.. birds.. and background.. It was the most intense golf I've ever seen once the leaders where nearing the end on Sunday.. It's been a shit show ever since.
