Famous People Who When They Die, You'll Lose Your Shit

Featured Replies

The badass people I cared about are already dead. I'm old.

No Sean Connery?  The surl is slipping.

Maybe Patrick Stewart...?

Good one.  I got choked up in Logan.

I can’t think of anyone I’d lose my shit over. There’s more of a “facing own mortality” deal I guess. Challenge as a Gen X kid is that a ton of our celebs have killed themselves  already or overdosed

I don't think I would freak out/lose my shit if any famous person died.  There are some that would make me pause and reminisce about an older movie, song, etc.  But I can't imagine another reaction.

I didn't lose my shit, but Garry Shandling and Tom Petty dying hit pretty hard.

Did you see this?   Still can't believe they are both gone.

Same here. The only famous person dying that really made feel any emotion was Tom Landry and that just stirred up my hatred for Jerry Jones.

Yeah I was thinking Letterman too. Some others won’t be pleasant. Sean Connery, Harrison Ford, Michael Keaton. The ones we (me) grew up watching.

Bill Cosby will be great however.

Who’s slipping?

But Connery is the one I thought of. 88 years old now and doesn’t seem to make public appearances any more. The ultimate guy’s guy who would be slaughtered in the metoo era.

Doesn’t he have Alzheimer’s or some other health issue?

Probably Ricky Williams, Jack White, and  Maynard Keenan, and Simon Pegg.

I was pretty sad when Anton Yelchin passed. Was too young and talented.

Phil Hartman's death disturbed and haunted me. The ones that really impact me are always surprises.

Phillip Seymour Hoffman was another.

Maybe the next guy named Phil or Phillip will depress me. It's hard to predict.

Noted.
