YOU GOT MOSSED.......

And worth a reminder that we went into Lubbock and took down a future NFL head coach!!!!

Hate to see him go but absolutely wish him the best. Go get a ring LJH!

sucks for us, but best of luck to LJH.  really enjoyed watching him this year.

Good luck and Hook'em.....

Understand why athletes leave early and aint mad but just always wonder how different could be if we had some guys stay.

This will be a deep receiver class for the upcoming draft. I look forward to seeing him prove himself at the next level.

DAMMIT....

Thanks for everything LJH, give hell to the NFL....

NEXT MAN UP!!!

Hook em!

I'll miss his play. Best of luck to him. Kick ass in the NFL, LJH!

Best of luck LJH. Will be missed. Hook em!

 Tear the nfl up.

Throwback to when LJH first committed to Texas: http://www.shaggytexas.com/board/showthread.php/167482-2016-Ath-Lil-Jordan-Humphrey

Quote

Lil’Jordan Humphrey has known for a while that Texas was the right school for him. But the three-star athlete out of Southlake Carroll made it official on Saturday evening when he announced his commitment to Texas over Wisconsin during a live broadcast on NBC5. Prior to his television decision, Humphrey broke down why he picked Texas in an exclusive interview with Horns247. “I committed to Texas because it’s the place to be,” Humphrey said. “They’ve been recruiting me hard ever since they offered. They’ve been interested in me like no other school. They just showed the most love. It’s overall a great place, and there is nothing like the fans in Texas. It’s crazy how much support I can have for my family and me. And of course, Austin is amazing.”

LJ never took a play off. Dude is the truth. He will do well at the next level.

no surprise after we didn't hear anything right after CJ said he was coming back.  gonna miss him especially on 3rd down. He was Sam's security blanket.  Cj and Dev gonna need to step up there.

Bummer for us but I think it's probably the right move for him.   Don't see him improving draft position drastically even with a huge season.  Go get paid!

This.

His loss will certainly be felt, especially with how front loaded the schedule is, but if there's anywhere we've stockpiled talented depth it's WR. Thanks and good luck to LJH, next man up.

Too bad Jake Smith is not enrolling early. Whittington however will be here in a couple weeks.

Unfortunate.  We may never know how he got his unusual first name.

LJH married and has kids???  Is that right or thinking of someone else?

if he still has that chick from back when we signed him then he was wise to have locked that down.

I’m just glad the program is back to a point talent-wise that players leaving early is a concern again.  It wasn’t that long ago that no Horns were drafted at all

Best of luck LJH.   Thanks for the great work and go represent well in the league.

Bummer for us! Hope he gets on a good team and becomes a star! 🤘🏼🤘🏼 One of my favorite players over the last few years! Wish him all the best!

Great motor. I always loved how he carried the entire defense for a few extra yards.

Thanks for the memories and for being one of the guys that made this season so much fun.

Best wishes to a straight-up badass    \\m//

Not sure "wise" has ever been a word used to describe someone locking down a piece of ass at 18 years old.

Good on you Lil Jordan. Hope you'll be catching passes from the slot as a Cole Beasely replacement in September.

Congratulations and best of luck. Hook 'Em!

Looks like he realized the incoming slots would reduce his playing time :(

absolutely phenomenal season for lil'jordan.  hard to blame him but would have been a lot of fun watching him abuse dbs next year and it would have made me a lot more optimistic about 3rd and 5 through 3rd and 15 each time next year.

good luck 84...

Best of luck. Thanks for everything.

He was kind of the "Steel Shank" of the team - the glue that held it all together with incredible leadership skills.

yeah. no shit. its a joke.

I’m going to miss opposing fans going “Wait, his name is ACTUALLY Lil Jordan??” Every week.

Good luck in the NFL

Good luck and thanks for all you did for the program. I hope it works out well for you and you don't end up in Cleveland, Oakland, or Cincinnati.

Who was the last wideout for us to leave early?

#9 Kwame Cavil.  He was the last that I remember.

That one still hurts for some reason.

Man, I was convinced that he was going to be a star in the NFL.

Of course I was like 14 and a fucking idiot.

Should be an instant All-Name team contender in the league.

Good luck to LJ, was one of the more enjoyable players to watch in recent years.

If we could afford to lose anyone at any position, WR was it.

Split up his 80 catches between Whittington, Jake Smith, Josh Moore, Duvernay and Burt.

Have a great NFL career.  You earned it playing at Texas.

Best of luck to him in the NFL and after football as well. Come back later get your degree and your T Ring.

I was just about to post the same thing.  LJ has what it takes to succeed at the next level; I look forward to watching him in the NFL.

Damn after all this good news the past few weeks this is a nutkick (my own selfish one)... But congrats to him on moving on and on a helluva season.  I hope he doesn't experience the same as some of our other early leavers in the draft though..

I was sure hoping to see him play another year for the Burnt Orange.    Thanks for all you did for the Horns..
