January 13, 20196 yr For whatever reason the usual draw PDFs are nowhere to be found this year, had to use Wiki. Men's Fed is down in Rafa's half. Murray gets Bautista Agut in what could be his final match. Women's Simona/Kenin & Serena/Genie hopefully both happen in R2 of the top quarter. Sabalenka is the early trendy pick. Starts at 6:00p tomorrow on ESPN2 with the bottom half of both draws.
January 13, 20196 yr Surprised Murray isn’t on Rod Laver or Magaret Court, considering it may be his last match ever
January 13, 20196 yr Author Novak is the unanimous ESPN choice. Drysdale, Evert, Shriver pick Serena; Gilbert & P. McEnroe take Sabalenka. http://www.espn.com/tennis/story/_/id/25739823/australian-open-experts-picks-novak-djokovic-unanimous-choice-serena-williams-slight-favorite

January 13, 20196 yr Pliskova is their favorite but only has a 13% chance of winning? God damn WTA parity

January 14, 20196 yr Author Dart did not start. Julia v. Danielle Collins on DTV 704. Sabalenka smoked her opponent too.
January 14, 20196 yr Author Jelena is still only 21, but early indications are she may go down as one of the worst one-Slam wonders.
January 14, 20196 yr Author Just saw the end of Andy's replay on TC. Battled his ass off to win 3rd & 4th set breakers, not enough juice left for all five.
January 15, 20196 yr Isner, Sock, Querrey, and Johnson all bounced in the first round. Guess its time for the next gen of Americans to step up pronto otherwise US tennis is going to reach a new low on the mens side
January 15, 20196 yr Author Vika out in 3 to Siegemund. Weird career, one more Slam probably gets her in the HOF, but it’s not gonna happen anymore. Custody issues really derailed her.
January 15, 20196 yr Author Venus “forces” three on ESPN2 after some of the worst tennis I’ve ever fucking seen.
January 15, 20196 yr Ohh a hindrance call on Buzarnescu after she celebrated during a point too soon when Venus tracked down a ball. lol
January 15, 20196 yr Aussies aren't doing too well either. Hometown favourite Kyrgios is already gone in round 1, and Tomic wasn't far behind.
January 16, 20196 yr Author There have been eight completed sets in women’s singles today. Seven were 6-3. Edited January 16, 20196 yr by spystud13
January 16, 20196 yr Sloane plays better at slams because she’s willing to grind more and hit less errors. In the smaller tournaments she just says fuck it and try’s to end points quicker which is rarely successful for her
January 16, 20196 yr Lots of entertaining matches on right now. Tiafoe and Anderson at 1 set all. McDonald and Cilic at 1 set all.
January 16, 20196 yr Anisimova wasn't playing around wow good for her. Wonder if Tiafoe can upset a top 5 opponent. He's up 2 sets to 1 on Anderson

January 16, 20196 yr Author Young Aussie Kim Birrell breadsticks Vekic in the third. Sabalenka up a set over Boulter on 705.
January 16, 20196 yr Huge breakthrough win for Tiafoe, easily the biggest of his career. Let's see how far he can ride the surge.

January 16, 20196 yr Author Simona/Kenin third on Laver, Serena/Genie follows to open the night session at 2 am.
January 16, 20196 yr Author Damn, Stan/Raonic is second on Laver & Novak/Jo-Wilie finishes. That's a helluva slate.
January 16, 20196 yr Author I did, Katie gave it what she had but just doesn't have the weapons. When Aryna catches a forehand clean, it's over.
January 16, 20196 yr Author Fun early slate tonight. Svitolina/Kuzmova Karolina/Brengle Giorgi/Swiatek Sevastova/Andreescu All available on the DTV channels.

January 17, 20196 yr Author Top 20, maybe. She’s already 22, but doesn’t hit with as much power as her height says she should. And like most lanky players, movement ain’t her strength. She’s basically the exact opposite of Domi, but I highly doubt Katie ever sees a Slam final.
