Looks like Svitolina has a sprained downasetandabreak

Seems like Serena always gives up an early break. Even in her dominant first set against Halep she was broken her first service game.

Easier said than done but just keep sending Serena cross court. No way that ass can keep up with her heart.

There’s the break! Two more holds, tall honey.

Edited by spystud13
Fuck, two more holds wouldn’t do shit. I suck tonight.

Back on serve.

to recap: Serena up 5-1 in the 3rd gets called for a foot fault on first serve match point. She gets second serve in and tweaks her ankle during the point. loses the point, loses the game, gets broken again and now we're back on serve

What a fucking comeback by the Czech.  This is good shit.

This shit was over at 5-1. Unreal.

Triple break point for KP!

One time, KP!

Hold

Got a little dicey after 40-0 but KP does it.

Serena avoids losing to Osaka again.  She may have wrapped up 2019 AP woman athlete of the year though.

lmao can't wait for her to complain about that foot fault call by the MALE umpire on match point

Did they ever show a replay of it? So crazy.

Yes they showed a replay between one of the side changes.

That was HIGHLY enjoyable.

This has been the best women’s Slam in a long, long time. So many great matches.

Fortunately yeah. The men haven't been too interesting this year.

Wonder how many sets Serena has lost at 5-1 in her life? Not third set, any set, any tourney. Can’t be many.

Saw on ESPN that it was the 2nd time she's lost a match after blowing 4 match points.

Unbelievably, Williams lost her last 11 points on serve, while Pliskova, a former world No. 1, saved three more match points and won the next five games and the match to earn a spot in the Australian Open semifinals for the first time in her career.

That is crazy.

It was a total collapse but calling the first foot fault of the match on match point is like calling the first offensive holding call on the last play of the game, if not worse.

That didn't cause her to lose and she shit the bed hard but pretty lame call. Horrible loss.
