January 26, 20196 yr This has been a great match. I want Petra to win, but rooting against Osaka is difficult.
January 26, 20196 yr Author This match is fucking unreal. Petra was just down 0-40 & holds. Edited January 26, 20196 yr by spystud13
January 26, 20196 yr Author Chris Fowler fucking nailed it, what a great moment for her. She is not a star, she is a mother fucking superstar. Edited January 26, 20196 yr by spystud13
January 26, 20196 yr Osaka held it together at the end. Shoulda won in straights but props to her for regrouping in the 2nd

The 3rd set was more like "How did I almost let this fucker get away from me? I better win this match. I would like her to get to the point that she looks like she actually enjoys football.
January 26, 20196 yr Author Of course, a 21-year old tennis player that has just won back-to-back Slams should worship football. Jesus mother fucking shit.
January 26, 20196 yr Does Djoker keep his domination over Nadal tonight? 8-2 in his last 10 meetings with him and hasn’t lost to Rafa on hard court since the 2013 Open final. I think so but should be a great match.
January 26, 20196 yr Think Nadal will take this one. He's in near-perfect form. Should be an absolute classic. Edited January 26, 20196 yr by satyanash
January 27, 20196 yr fuck I hate the Australian open timesI’m sleepy AF but these are the classic matches we won’t see very soonhate watching replayed sports
January 27, 20196 yr I’m in the west coast this weekend so it’s not that bad. Can’t complain about a 12:30 am start when it’s 2:30 am for central

January 27, 20196 yr Disappointing final. Novak occupies rent-free headspace in Nadal and it shows. Djoker is playing great, but Rafa’s UE count is totally uncharacteristic. Crazy to think he ever had the mental edge in this matchup. Edited January 27, 20196 yr by Bodowned
January 27, 20196 yr You can tell in a rally when Djokovic takes over control of the rally and then it is soon over for Rafa. Djokovic with three ACES to close out the set.
January 27, 20196 yr Author Uniqlo REALLY fucked up letting Novak go. That was a fucking murderous game. Edited January 27, 20196 yr by spystud13
January 27, 20196 yr Author Jesus, we should just skip Novak’s service games cause Rafa isn’t even competing.
January 27, 20196 yr Djokovic is gonna end up with 25 slams. The dude has not lost an ounce of flexibility in the last 6 years and already survived a freakin’ elbow injury and came out better on the other side. He’s gonna end up being the undisputed GOAT at this point with his resumé.
January 27, 20196 yr Author It’s funny as fuck he’s doing these droppers simply because he can. He can win off either wing, or he can do silly shit like this just for the fuck of it.
January 27, 20196 yr The only person who can stop this man is Stanimal. Unfortunately, we’ve seen the last of his relevance.
January 27, 20196 yr I noticed that this Aussie Open Chairwoman didn’t have a thick Aussie accent, but tonight I had to focus to find a word here or there with an accent. The reason... Jayne Hrdlicka was born & raised in Kansas, went to Colorado College (in Colorado Springs), and got her MBA from Dartmouth. What she is doing chairing the Aussie Open?... No sé.

And if he stays healthy he most likely has a good five years. So 20 more majors. It will be fun to watch.

The only hope seems to be serious injury or rapid physical deterioration to keep him from getting there. No one in the NextGen class looks like someone who can beat him on his best day any time soon. Rafa can likely still take him at the FO in 2019 and might be competing in 2020, but Novak should have the outright advantages on hard/grass courts and is probably the best player on clay outside of Rafa already.
January 27, 20196 yr Best performance I’ve ever seen in a final. Didn’t help that Nadal brought his C game, but it wouldn’t have mattered. If he stays healthy, he will eclipse 20 GS. He may beat Nadal at the FO this year Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
January 27, 20196 yr Compete domination. I’ve always thought that if everyone played their A game that Djokovic beats anyone to have ever played. I’m not even sure last night was him playing his best, because Nadal didn’t even bother showing up, but it was a still a level or two above everyone else out there.
January 27, 20196 yr Sheesh. Djokovic never let Nadal into this match, did he. Watching the feet gives it away. Nadal's footwork looked sluggish, Djokovic's looked twice as fast.
