Bonnie's been doing fine after that strange episode. I'm taking her to Thomlinson's Feed Store to go buy her food and treats. They always fuss over her there and she loves it. Tiny Clyde too. I have to carry the little fucker so he doesn't pee on things, but he still gets the pets and fuss.

how is Fu holding up since she lost Jaca?

She has been mostly fine but she definitely follows me around the house more. I don’t want to leave her for two weeks this summer when we go to Italy. Luckily, half of that time she will stay with my brother.

Today is officially Juno's 2nd birthday (she's a rescue, so not sure what her actual birthdate was).

The scouting report on Pyrs is that they're stubborn, difficult to train, and very independent. She really hasn't been any of those things and is probably the best dog we've ever had and my best friend.

And every single day I look at her and think, "I cannot believe someone gave you up."

How many BBQ joints will you hit in Italy?  We expect hourly field tester updates and a power point presentation when you get back.

SASSYDOGE

Heiani has fit right in with Aliyanah. I love just sitting and watching them play when I get in from the day. Man, dogs are ridiculously awesome.

These two make me smile every night.  Whenever we get up from the living room to go to bed in the evening, they rush ahead of us to the bedroom to stake out their spots.

Penny (on the left) has gone over 7 months without a seizure after two years of having them 2-3 times a month.  Ody is just a chonky love bug.  Every day with these two is a blessing.

3 months dogless after the mighty mighty Mollie dog.  Still not ready.  Man, she was the best dog ever.

Cock sucker solicitors were trespassing on the property. I let Luna answer the door when they knocked. They didn't knock again.

Rewarded with a pig ear

Juno knows you saved her ass and will be a doubly loyal and loving dog. It’s why we do rescues of some sort. Though my wife remains adamant we won’t do another. That breaks my heart thinking we won’t have another but the last loss of two in 14 months just hammered her. I know anther couple dogs will find us but it has to come natural.

GPs are really great dogs. Scooter had such a sweet temperament but had a bark that would keep the coyotes far away from the goats. We would fill an entire contractor bag with his fur when we’d comb him out, and he’d just lay there and enjoy the grooming. I really miss him.

I left this morning to drop my daughter off and when I got back Sebastian was like hey I’ve just been taking a nap on the couch.  Of course, behind the couch were the remains of the graduation card and $50 I was getting ready to send to my niece.  I guess I’ll be finding the rest of the money and the card in the backyard later

Mango a giant fucking pain in my ass, and we have to be careful because of her sheer size and hyperactivity, but this dobie at least is great with the little one.

Friend had a baby (yes ill get some pics) and when he's on the floor rolling around Luna posts up right at his side while she scans the area like the terminator for potential threats.

When my niece was born I went to go see her about a week after they brought her home. My sister's GSD (who knew me well) wouldn't let me get within 6 feet of her crib. Didn't get aggressive or anything, just blocked my way and wouldn't let me get closer.

I had a friend who had to find his dog a new home because the dog wouldn’t let mom and dad near the crib.

Big dogs just know something about babies/kids. They are patient, careful, and gentle in a way when they are around them that is very noticeable. It’s one of the things that make me a big dog person.

My parents had to get rid of their GSD not long after I was born. He would let my mom pick ne up but wouldn't let my father near me. Wish I had the old pic of him sleeping under my crib.

Smart dog

Shit last time I visited my parents luna would always be between me and him. Dogs know. They always know.

Yeah but after all this time we still don’t know who your daddy is.

This one……. Is completely worthless, but he’s my favorite.

we got him as a puppy to learn from the German Shepherd, but it didn’t take.

Haha thats great! There are times when I wish Luna wasn't so damn serious.

She will play but the second somebody or something fucks around she doesn't hesitate to help them find out.

What is she? she doesn’t look like she would be serious!!

This one is just an idiot  Someone dumped some puppies a couple of miles down the road, so we took the yellow one with a spot on his head

He’s Alaskan malamute, Husky, and something else I can’t remember according to the dog version of 23 and me

Luna is a white GSD. Yea she gets goofy with me and her dog pals, but if a dog acts the fool she will put it on its back. She also gets really fucking scary when someone knocks on the front door.
