Brady is the best in the history of the game but walks around the locker room like he's a water boy. Stories and stories are documented him in Julys past of him going around to free agents introd

He must've made one incredible deal with the devil

As much as I don’t want see the Patriots in the superbowlagain, you gotta give the man his due.  Simply the best ever

The only time they touched him was the bullshit roughing call. Dude was nails. Fuck him. But, Jesus, he is good.

It's cold blooded surgical precision...it's unfortunate it benefits a bunch of Boston goons and makes em happy but yes he is unreal

He’s the best quarterback of all time. Really no one else compares. He’s been fucking nails his entire career.

I live in Boston. Cannot fucking stand it but he really is the goat.

He's not playing his best ball of his career. Missing a lot of throws he used to make with regularity.

That's what makes this all the more amazing.

Exactly. Thought he played pretty damn mediocre most of the game. But when they really needed a play, he put the ball exactly where it needed to be.

His last 6 or so playoff games are as good as he's ever been, but tonight wasn't until the end.

You can’t argue with his results.

But holy fuck how are his receivers always open?  It doesn’t matter what scraggly white guy they toss in there, come 3rd and 10, he’s going to be open, and Brady will find him.

You are watching the greatest football player to ever walk the earth..... enjoy it.

Has done so with a bunch of no bodies.  Simply the best in history, at any position in the game.

Idiots will argue otherwise.

I won't enjoy it but I'll begrudgingly acknowledge it.

Brady is fucking awesome but what does this have to do with him being good? That's his blocking.

I used to fucking hate Tom Brady.  Lived in Boston for 4 years during grad school and came to respect him.  He's the fucking GOAT.  He's the fucking Michael Jordan of the NFL.  No one will be better than him.

I don’t hate Brady and the Pats, I’m just bored at the predictability of it.

Gronk is decent

Can't deny his talent, sick of seeing New England in the Super Bowl year in and year out.

Stories and stories are documented him in Julys past of him going around to free agents introducing himself as "Hi, I'm Tom. Welcome to the Patriots".

Dude's nice, cool, married to a hot a piece of ass and has shown over and over to be a good guy.

Hate it as you wish but you're a douche if so.

Its also alot of him getting the ball out just in time and that blocking is partly due to him identifying the defensive plays and adjusting his protection

Now he's gonna crawfish and drill that ol devil in the ass.

he's had the best passing protection i've ever seen , and that's been his entire career. How the hell do the OL do it, generation after generation? That's the underlying reason for their success.

He's not even particularly accurate anymore, and his arm strength has never been something to write home about.

His strength is that he's seen just about every defense there is, and knows the right checks to make to beat them. Then he has incredible chemistry with a bunch of JAGs at receiver (plus the shell of Gronkowski) to make up for their modest receiving talent, and several years of continuity in the offensive system with McDaniels.

On top of that, he still has incredible drive to win and works his ass off to take care of his body.

He doesn't have quarterback vision, homie

He's exactly like Tim Tebow, exactly the opposite.

So not gay then

eh.  tom has more to do with it than I think you realize.  nate solder’s stellar work as a patriot got him over $15MM/year from the giants and he is fucking terrible.

his arm strength isn't great at this age, but was above average before.  Tonight's zip to Edelman over the middle was a lazer beam when he needed it the most.

He's saying all of his receivers are ghosts.

Racist, IMO.

Nine Super Bowls. Nine.

Who is ever going to break that record?

Dallas and Pitt have been in 8, NE with 10 actually (remember 1986), unless BB only then 9 which agreed is unbreakable.

Brady's been fortunate to have Belichick as a head coach. He also takes a lot less money than he could, although the $15 mil a year ain't chump changeThis year, he made less than Blake Bortles. He knows Belichick will use that money to ID offensive linemen and keep them happy.

The most impressive things about him are his attention to detail, and frankly, the fact that he's never gotten bored with winning big games.

None of those 3rd and 10’s were pick plays....but I know what you mean.

The entire league is made up of pick plays.

Execute them as you can.

This. His o-line has never really been particularly dominant. But he knows what defense you're in pre-snap, and he's going to get the ball out quickly and on target. Blitz at your own peril. Don't blitz, and all of the sudden he's taking deeper shots with no pressure. 3 quarters of beating your man, but barely getting a finger on Brady before he throws has to take a toll on a defense and make them a half a step slower in the 4th.

The blueprint to beating Brady has always been simple: don't play zone and pressure him without blitzing. But how many teams have the personnel for that?

No one is going to confuse his arm for Favre or Elway, but I'd argue that he's the best adverse weather passer of all time. Romo hit on it early in the game, but his lower body torque and almost always perfect spiral just cut through the wind/rain/snow/whatever else you typically see in January.

Edited by aggie08

Brady's pre-snap reads are the best the game has ever seen.  He dissects defenses within 6 to 8 seconds of the play clock expiring like no one that's ever played the game.

Watch this aspect of the game and understand why the guy is so damn good.

I can't believe some of the small stats... like 9 straight AFC championship games...10 straight bye weeks or whatever. Just dumb. Granted he is helped a lot by the bills, dolphins and jets being essentially non playoff contenders every year but he still beats everybody else's best shots

Dallas and Pitt have been in 8, NE with 10 actually (remember 1986), unless BB only then 9 which agreed is unbreakable.

Dallas and Pitt did that in multiple decades with different teams. Brady has been to nine.
For comparison, Elway is 2nd qb on list in appearances with 5.
