Time Show Adults 18-49 rating/share Viewers (millions)
7 p.m. AFC Championship (CBS) (7-10:30 p.m.) 14.5/46 46.47

Most shows get renewed with anything over a 1.0 rating in 18-49 and football does that............best reality show on TV.

up from 42.3 million from the late window NFC championship last year.  but down from the 2017 afc championship game in the late window of 47.95 million, and way down from 2016 afc championship (53.3 million).

Those are preliminary numbers. Usually with live sporting events the final numbers are higher than the initial numbers. My guess it will be over or close to the 2016 AFC title game.

You match the biggest bandwagon fan base /which is also he most hated, against the new phenom slinging star lighting up the league, and you're gonna get big ratings.

The NFL has messed up a lot of things, but it's still better than the vast majority of garbage on TV.
