Lets get this guy back to the Sugar Bowl (NCG) next year!

  • Zavala changed the title to They called em the Steroid Baby - Malcolm Roach

That dude kicks all kinds of ass.

Hope he stays healthy and puts it all together this year.  Freshman year he’d drop back into coverage as a mammoth human being an destroy guys coming. across the middle. Just not fair.

We need him to have a big senior year.

hells yeah  emotion, baller, pray for nothing but success for this young lad

Wow that was great. Hope whatever health issue his dad seems to have picked up isn't too bad.

Papa Roach seems like a good dude.

Yes. Hope this doesn't cut his life into pieces.

Yeah. Football is his last resort.

We see a fair number of self-promoting adults associated with young athletes. Michael Roach is who they they wish they could better pretend to be. Hookem’ and God Bless! Proud to have Malcolm on the team.

Thanks for sharing. Really coollittle piece. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Malcolm is gonna play okay vs LSU.

He needs to ball out next season, and if healthy this will be his best shot. He’s finally playing DL full time.

Best wishes big fella.

Malcolm has always had that VY feel to him, in a leadership sense. Leaders who don't let you get down, who never fail to pick you up, who don't let you lose. He seems close to reaching that pinnacle. Time will tell in the coming year if he can reach that level.

Great piece.

Got the great family. That's what I love most about the 'cruits Charlie and now Tom are going after. Good guys from good families.

No offense to Gundy but Malcolm's dad is a MAN.  He got out but he didn't just walk away.  Dragging kids out of hell and giving them purpose and focus for so many years.  What a great role model.

Our defensive line is going to be wicked good next year. We may not have five stars but Giles and Yancy coach them up as good as anybody in the business. I love me some Roach...

damn good story.  after seeing that, he's now one of my favorite longhorns.  will be rooting for him long after he leaves texas.

Roach is the real deal. I want him to have so much success in life. I’m glad he’s a Horn.

My favorite kid on this team. So much respect for his father and for the job he did raising Malcolm (and so many others).

Hopefully Malcolm dominates again this season and is rewarded with a high draft position and a long NFL career.

Love the big, tough guys with lots of heart.  Hoping he balls out and has a finominole year, of course for the the team, but for himself, as well.

Bring more of those tough/big heart boot dudes to the 40 with you, Mr. Roach!

Now I'm kinda wishing we played LSU in Baton Rouge next season. Hope he's an honorary captain in 2020 for that game.

Doubt Roach needs to be an honorary captain. Would be surprised if he isn’t one of the official captains.

I think Roach, with a good year, has some good NFL money coming his way.  Needs to stay healthy.

He's a senior next season, and won't be on the team when we play LSU in Baton Rouge.

Ah I got it. Thought you were talking about next year.

How did we get him over LSU?

Better coaches. He's smart, and got a smart family.

Well that and he didn't have an LSU offer...
