Floyd is a huge pickup, IMO. He's a vocal guy out west and he's likely to stick, neverminding the fact that he can ball like a motherfucker.

I expect Texas to sign 25+ again and it won't surprise me if 8-ish are OOS. Is that what we had last year? I can't remember but it seems like it. I always wanted Texas to go OOS more and particularly California, so the press in that state is great news to me.

I believe that we'll have to take a smaller class. 82 currently on scholarship and graduating 17 this year so anymore than 20 will have to be due to guys declaring for the draft or transfering.

I agree on a lot of our guys being OOS

Which will happen. Easily. When’s the last year we lost less than 5 to transfer, retirement, and early entry?

Bigger is always better.

Yeah, yeah, that's what my mom said.

We'll take around 28

The 2020 class will have to be a little smaller though, probably something like 23-25 depending on how many we take in 2019

I guess that's true. I have no clue how the transfer/retirement front will play out, but I don't see a ton of early NFL draft guys among our juniors... Johnson, Jones, and maybe LJH but I wouldn't consider any of them locks to leave early. I think 23-25 is a reasonable plan until the season happens and we see how it plays out.

Can we agree to leave the engorgement scale at shaggy?  No saints here but that was just weird.

It’s a part of the culture now it’s impossible to peel away that layer just like it’s impossible to get rid of Kate, ms paint pics and dicks.

If we already have 20 slots open, only need 5 to transfer or declare isn’t that many. Townsend and Houston are likely going to grad transfer so that’s 2 right there.

Hm, I remember when people were saying this last year around this time.

Absolutely Not

So, preferred position for Floyd?

I think he can play all three LB spots, Rover, Mike and B Backer. He really moves well. Gabe is a pretty thick kid, I think he ends up at B-Backer.

Mike, imo

Just depends on where his body takes him. Right now I like him at Rover, but I agree that he could become a B-Backer.

I think so. I don't think Orlando necessarily is rigid in his scheme, and will make the pieces fit.

Love this, but Sweat isn't really our top DL on the board, is he? Wouldn't that be Leal?
I think Sweat is a bit underrated, if he doesn't get the extra star it's only because he committed so early. 9.95 ers hate early commits that don't waver..

I only miss him with that name because he got to register Radical Larry first.

Otherwise it makes me laugh every time I see it.

Yeah, we’ve always been dead broke before, which is why we never were able to sign a Heisman winner out of California or anything.

Oregon fans talking about other teams paying recruits is hilarious. Do they even remember the "services" they paid for Lyles and Seastrunk?

Well, Oregon would know a lot about paying players. It's pretty necessary there. Not so much here.

Like fans of the Texum Bulldogs, they have short memories. They NEED short memories.

It's about damn time we started mining California.  That's a potential resource we've squandered for far too long.

Since Ricky? Probably not but feels that way

Oregon is just butthurt that they got ditched by their coach after one year.
