April 9Apr 9 It cracks me up how many HEB products are sold on Amazon and Ebay. The only thing I buy so far are the refried charro beans ($20 for 6 cans) from some dude in Floresville. The Borracho Shiner Bock beans are my favorite. The gringa I married asked me the other day to get her “some of those Barack-O beans” from HEB. Evidently 44 is in the frijole business now [emoji2357]

May 3May 3 HEB doing the shrimp and such boils most weekends these days. Great purchase for shrimp for salads or whatever else plus the potatoes are fantastic when they actually spice the boil

May 14May 14 Picked these up at HEB yesterday. After 20 seconds a side in a skillet, they are fantastic. I like them better than the Mi Tienda ready to cook flour tortillas.
May 14May 14 Haven't seen those specific ones, but Guerreros have been my store made go-to for years.

June 3Jun 3 When I'm feeling particularly lazy I've been using this as seasoning on taco meat, roasts, chicken, you name it. Oh yeah, beans. It's a really clean, all-purpose blend that saves time and tastes great. I use ~ 2 tablespoons per pound of protein to get the salt right. Edited June 3Jun 3 by jimmyjazz
June 3Jun 3 Finally tried this last night. Excellent. I added a little broth and a little half and half.
