So I’m not a Tres Leches connoisseur, but it’s my wife’s favorite cake and she claims HEB is about as good as you’re going to get in Austin (and to your point from 2019, Austin bakeries are indeed underwhelming). I don’t know why there’s an awesome bakery every couple of blocks in Western Europe but we only have a four or five in a city of 1m.
