Independent/Third Party 2020 Presidential Candidate "Mega"thread

Featured Replies

Schultz hasn’t actually officially announced.

He said he was “seriously considering it” on “60 Minutes”.

Tweeted a handful of inane tweets that got so ratioed it hurt my feelings.

And he appeared on Fucking Gwyneth Fucking Paltrow’s stupid fucking GOOP podcast for stupid fucking bitches and the stupid women that pity fuck them.

Who I, and a lot of others, voted for in 2012 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yes, Cookie, we know. That's the point. You're a Republican, like the millions of other dumbasses who are concern trolling about the Dems' 2020 prospects.

So Republicans and/or non-2 party voters can't chime in on either Independent threads (THIS ONE!) or Democratic nominee threads?  Wow, the big tent party broadens...

I hope he does run. He's going to siphon off dollars and votes from the GOP.

There are very few truly independent voters. There's a lot of leaners. They don't like being called R or D but they are going to end up voting with their home party more often than not.

At least until Trump. Now, there's a bunch of previous Republicans that will vote for anyone but an R. I don't think it's going to be Howard.

What Republican thread? The Hillary Clinton ain't prez? One of Tahoe's trolling efforts?

As if there's any question who the R nominee is going to be

Can socialists and bad_teammates chime in on the Republican thread though? Of course. With respect and pleasure.

Yeah, show me where I suggested they couldn’t. Are you feeling okay?

"I voted against Hillary when she was running against a literal fascist clown, but I'm totally part of the #resistance now guys!"
*one person looks at him sideways"
"SO MUCH FOR THE TOLERANT LEFT!"

Chime in, brother, chime away. I didn't say you shouldn't be allowed to talk. I'm just saying Johnson/Stein/Trump voters should be ignored. Free speech is not the same as obligation to be listened to.

No one should take concern trolls seriously.

If you've actually changed in some substantive way then the idea of needing to sit out a cycle or two and listen/learn wouldn't be so offensive to you. But you haven't, you're just as certain that the brain genius that led you to vote for not-Hillary is the brain genius that will lead the Democrats out of the wilderness.

Sit back, be supportive, and watch/listen/learn about this new world you're entering into.

So Republicans and/or non-2 party voters can't chime in on either Independent threads (THIS ONE!) or Democratic nominee threads?  Wow, the big tent party broadens...

Jesus. No one said you aren't allowed to chime in. Chiming in is the point of a message board. You aren't exempt from peoole engaging with your posts, which is going to include criticism.

Remember folks, it's the goddamn libcucks that are such triggered safe space snowflakes.

The fact that a billionaire asshole with no ideas and terrible polling numbers gets this much media time just highlights the broader issues in the country.

How fucking hard is it just to let him fade away?

Weld is out of the LP running. His 2016 VP run was likely an attempt to peel off Republican voters from Trump so this isn't surprising.

Holy fuck go to hell. Writing campaign ads for the democrats

lol reminds me of that Silicon Valley venture capitalist scumbag who said those going after the 1% are like the Nazis going after Jews during the Holocaust.

An "independent" is born. He's a man of means. But along comes the poors, they got nothin' but their jeans. But they got, an asshole former CEO, an asshole former CEO, an asshole former CEO who wants to keep Trump in office to protect his wealthhhhhh!

Yeah, that's pretty fucked up. This is the same shit they pulled with Trump which contributed to his success in the Republican primary.

“Billionaires run this shit and there’s not a damn thing you can do about it.”

/CNN

I need to request a townhall with CNN and discuss how I am considering a run for President. I'll discuss my plans to be a benevolent dictator and my plans to dismantle the Southeastern Conference.

He isn't even an officially declared candidate yet.

As a progressive hipster, I for one will be attending a more local and community connected townhall gathering.  One that is fair trade, non-corporate, and has a better drip.

This video as it all. 200 people on Facebook watching live, the few "like" emoticons bubbling up like a baby fart in a bathtub, and a Jeb "please clap" moment.

Fuck CNN, fuck the media, and fuck the establishment for propping up this elitist clown.  When are these people gonna fucking learn.

If the Schultz campaign doesn't abort it will end up stillborn.

I've got more 2020 momentum on my expired $10 gift card.

hahaha his campaign manager quits his own podcast because the co-hosts asked him questions

Still early but it looks like Schmidt miscalculated with Schultz.

Who knew the guy responsible for Palin would make another mistake.

At least he will get paid.

"SCHULTZ!!!"

(I don't know how to caption.)

Dems need to hope he runs. He’s spending so much time attacking them, and only them, that he’s gonna accidentally appeal to a lot of Republicans who may throw some votes his way.

Anybody who is STILL intrigued by him at this point was never going to vote D.

Like I said, Republican in Republican’s clothing

if he should pay more taxes, why not cut a big fat check to the US Treasury today?

Because programs and government can't be reliably funded by the occasional big gift.

Maybe he doesn't believe his fat check should go to building a wall or funding any other idiotic Donald Trump programs?

Why would one voluntarily pay the U.S. government MORE money when the administration won't want to spend it on things they like?  It's not like Mnuchin is going to be like "Mr. President,  we got a check from Howard Schultz but it says in the memo line "for healthcare and education spending ONLY" so it can't be used for your wall.  Sorry."

we all pay taxes and have no control to where it goes, some programs we like, some we don't

I thought Republicans were racist? When he says as a kid I don’t see color and I don’t see color now that is the epitome of Republican you say, but it’s also the antithesis or racism.

1

1. If you claim to be color blind, you ignore racial injustice.

2. If you ignore racial injustice, you perpetuate its practice.

3. If you perpetuate its practice, you enable racists.

4. Only the obtuse or racists claim to be color blind.

Right? It's mind-blowing that people pretend to play this game.

Why you playing with super compassionate woke genius centrist trolls? Come on man.

I suggest it is time for a new party called...

"The Common Sense" party.

Makes "sense".
