Go learn a ton from Gundy. Except about hairstyling. And beating UT.

didn't he quit UT football? I thought he had a real shot at the NFL.  Kind of a strange storyline for this guy.

Nah. If anything he got more playing time than his production really merited his senior year.

No, he was recruited by Mack and then played under both the Strong and Herman regimes....when he could have said fuck it

oh, i was thinking of #6 Jake Oliver WR who had some really good games his last year and IIRC left the team.

Lots of similarities--oh, wait . . .

This guy, Oliver, Garrett Gray... we had no shortage of WR misses this decade.

Good for LoJo.....Graduated last spring and then had a DWI......

Lucky to get this job..... Take advantage LoJo!!

"This is an interesting hire, especially with Joe’s recent legal troubles. He was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor DWI this past July. It was a situation that could have turned out a lot worse than it did."

"According to an arrest affidavit filed by UT police, Joe was driving a 2016 Dodge Charger near the 2600 block of Guadalupe Street early July 7. He nearly hit a pedestrian who was walking through the southwest corner of 27th and Guadalupe Streets. Joe’s car was then almost struck by another vehicle."

What exactly is an offensive quality control coach? Not saying it isn’t an important job, but that’s the first time I’ve ever heard of that position.

Where have you been for the last 5 years, seriously?

Not sure if you are being sarcastic or not, but if you want more info here's a few articles I found using Google.......

I guess I’ve been living under a rock. I knew there were coaches that had that job description (give or take a few things) but I guess I just glossed over it when it was actually referenced as a QC coach.

Come on who hasn't been there. Now with Uber and Lyft hopefully these young guys will take advantage of these services.

Two points:

It's always a good thing when a former player works his way into the coaching ranks, so best of luck to Lorenzo, no matter where he goes (as long as it's not OUsux, Baylor or aggy).

As for his DWI, not a great way to start your post-graduate life, yet I'll acknowledge but for the grace of God go I . . . .

Listen, give me a black guy with a full blown fucking mullet roaming UT's sidelines some day and I will die a happy man.

I used to enjoy beating his uncle Glass Joe in Punch-Out.

Good luck to Lorenzo.
