For the love of Jesus, I can’t turn the channel without seeing this fucko in a movie. I get he’s the only action star under 55, but calm it the fuck down.

I don’t even dislike him, or the type of mindless jaunt he produces, but everyone has their exposure limit.

Just wait until he announces he is running for President.

He's the only guy in Hollywood that movie execs trust to star in an action movie that isn't a comic book movie. So that's what we get.

He’s rumored to be Jack Burton in a Big Trouble in Little China remake. It’s gone too far

He's clearly more qualified to do that than act.

Yeah well you're just racist against Pacific Islanders and you hate wrestling and America

I should have said trust to make action movies which actually make money.

At least the rock is in the correct movies.

Nobody is trying to put him in roles he has no business playing. Yet.

OP should check himself into the smackdown hotel at the corner of know your role blvd and jabroni drive.

He would be so much more interesting if you played a bad guy for once.  A legit bad guy.  Even in that Pain and Gain movie where he played a murderer (based on a true story) he was still the All American Good Guy.

He's done a couple of movies with Alexandra Daddario, so he's good in my book. The more screen time she gets, the better things are for America.

Sheeeiiittt, wait til Michael Strahan gets started.

I take it you’ve never seen The Tooth Fairy

Yeah, but I'm not saying that to his face.

Tell me who should have played that part, then.

You know... The Gameplan actually didn't suck.

It could be worse, remember when there was a new action movie starring either Jean Claude Van Damme or Steven Seagal coming out every month in the early 90's?

He was the bad guy in DOOM.

How dare you insult the great role of Col. Austin Travis who died less than 1/3rd into the film.

I was glad he died. It was bad enough they casted him but at least he was bumped off early in the movie. Would have been better without John Leguizamo as well.

Meh.  He pretty much makes the same movie/plays the same character every time now.  And it's getting pretty unbelievable watching a 70 year old beating up guys half his age.

I would have accepted Denzel.

Jeeez, the guy ain’t doing Shakespeare. Most are entertaining popcorn family friendly movies. Besides, you have to look at his career in two parts....with hair, and without.

Well, about that.

The movie Black Adam (starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson) is in pre-production, a DC comic book villain from Shazam.

Also, it's been announced that he'll star in "Doc Savage"

for those that don't know,

Quote

Doc Savage, the man of bronze, was raised from childhood by a team of scientists to become the original "super" hero of the 1930s. A man of great mental and physical strength, he went around the world battling larger-than-life villains.

The Rock is passable to very good in all of his movies since Get Shorty (where he was very understated and very good).  Too much hate for a dude that is ultimately, at worst, a lot of fun.

Duane Johnson playing Doc Savage is worse than Tom Cruise playing Jack Reacher.

Only because of the dancer chick, otherwise it was quite forgettable.

Well, his skin tone would be closer to the bronze skinned Doc Savage than a white actor. He has the size and muscles, just put golden contacts on his eyes and a blond wig, cut short, and he would be a better representation of the Doc Savage description.
