A little steep but, situationally, is the right spot for Texas.   Playing at home and has to win this game.  Baylor wants to.

We'll see if that assumed sense of urgency translates tonight.

I would normally be right there with you, I just hate playing a team that's in the form that Baylor is in. They've had the best offense in the conference during league play, and their one big weakness (3 point defense) happens to coincide with one of our big weaknesses. If Kerwin and Jase are shooting well then I think we probably will win the game, but short of us having two guys who are connecting tonight, I really don't like the matchup.

Tell you what- we'll win tonight and you give us Prohm at the end of the year- deal?

Osetkowski and Hayes should be able to do damage inside.  Obviously the latter, especially, needs to stay out of foul trouble.

You're a funny guy.  I like you.

Shaka's pleas for a sellout have gone unanswered in a monumental way.

Pretty good start.

Long is fucking things up.

lol for real, i legitimately laughed out loud with that last shot of his, that shit was hilariously bad.

someone questioned me earlier this year when i said that Long seemed to not really ever have a plan, that he's just running around out there improvising. i don't think there are any questions about that anymore, lol.

Galindo with the totally unsurprising jinx on the free throws.

Furk. Oset has been playing well of late, but when your man flops, take the easy layup; don't pass out of it.

We’ve been doing this weird doubling down in the post with no rotation the last several games... I get the pressure but not rotating leaves a guy open for a easy layup about 85% of the time

I don't understand why Coleman didn't take those technical shots.

I will say, they're doing a good job attacking the paint so far.

Drew is such a douche-nozzle

This is the Matt Coleman we've been waiting for. This is the Matt Coleman we need.

Shaka needs to give the keys to Matt and let him drive.

Is this not what we were sold on? Running and gunning.

Where the fuck has this Coleman been?

Snoop has been reluctant to take a backseat.

Best half of the season for Texas. Let's see if they can sustain that in the 2nd half.

Texas has quietly been pretty good for a few games now. Beat Kansas (tourney team), almost beat ISU on the road (sweet 16/elite 8 type team), dominated Baylor in the 1st half (tourney team).

The issue is consistency. Let's see if they can put another full game together. I still have my doubts.

If they play like that every half, they'll make the tourney with plenty of room to spare.

Baylor can't guard us inside or defend our perimeter guys off the dribble. My guess is they start sagging a lot and they will live with us shooting wide open 3s.

Good luck baiting this team into jacking up threes.
