So, following the usual script of an impressive and rather unexpectedly easy victory over the Big XII's at-the-time best team, the question now is... how low can you go?

I would normally be there with you but in all honesty I kind of expect us to at least cover the spread if not win handily. I won't be putting any money on that myself, but I have been betting against WVU this year because they are just bad. Bottom line, if we play the way we've been playing as of late, where we've been slowly but surely improving in key areas, then we will beat them today without much drama at the end. I mean when was the last time you saw West Virginia ranked 348th in the nation in steal%?

ranked 106 coming out of a major conference. that's bad bad.

Let’s see. We’re on the road in conference, so that means a loss. But WVU is really ordinary this season, so maybe not. Then again, we’ve lost to some other ordinary teams, even at our place. I wouldn’t wager much either way.

Tonight is where the season turns. Final four or bust !

God damn I hate that cylinder rule.  There's no point ever doubling anymore.

Yep, just another rule to kill defense in basketball.

And WVU is getting extra handsy.

Roach and Hayes on the bench early with 2 fouls each. Someone else gonna have to step up.

I'm a little impressed that WVU draws this many people to watch a losing team when it's like 20 degrees out.

My happiest day will be when I no longer have to watch DO miss every single two footer.

The arena is lighter, warmer and cleaner than a coal mine.

But got to admire a state where people like to burrow into the earth.

Hopefully, Hamm will see some early action. This has all the makings of a 50-foul game of attrition, so we'll need as many bodies to spread the fouls out as possible.

I've seen more moving screens called on us the last 2 games than i have all rest of the year. Just sloppy.

Players look like they're thinking and stiff, especially on defense.  I don't know what's up with the moving screens but that's a regular staple in today's basketball.

I bet opposing coaches have been complaining to the officials, we've been sloppy with the screens all year.

Maybe but These refs are pretty foul happy and those were two absolutely shitty screens by Hamm.
