You don’t put Commanders fans and Fleet fans in the same room without expecting sparks to fly.

  • All these AAF threads are fucking annoying. Put all this shit in "other sports" or something, the league is garbage. I'd rather watch CFL or Arena league.

The minimal commercials is amazing, too. They get right to business

Half the time the San Antonio QB forgets to put in his mouthpiece

So.... this is a lot more fun than I thought it would be.

Get these teams a couple of games to gel together and the quality might be really good.

Homies out in the parking lot stealing copper.

I think the sound is off because they have a shit ton of mics out there, coaches, players, cameramen, stadium. Their control board team has a shit ton of transitions and too many options.

Nah man.  Fuck this bitch ass alliance shit.

This honestly to me looks kinda like quality college football. But with too many gimmicks and godawful unis/ref kits.

Also - whatever the fuck Arena Football was - this is so so so much better.

What about Coffee Black?

Yeah, it happened to me. I'm watching on Hulu live, so don't know if that was it, or on their end.

It's on YouTube TV too so I assume it's on their end.

Ah, ok. It has to be, you're correct.

Decent crowd. It will get loud in there if the game is exciting.

The whole league had training camp throughout  San Antonio last month.  Atlanta practiced at the NISD stadium so I would see them every morning after swim practice since I had to go into the stadium to get my bus. I was pretty impressed with the energy and professionalism at the practices.

That's more or less what I was thinking.  If all the teams are like this, it's definitely not a bad thing.

Still don’t get what the long parallel lines perpendicular to the 10 yard markers are for.

Plus they're trying to bleep cuss words, so the audio control room is a Chinese fire drill.

No offense to the Orientals

Game pace is good , that shorter play clock may be a great idea

Not the proper nomenclature.

Don't you know sports gambling places love another football league.

Like the shorter play clock and fewer commercials.  Think Coaches need more than just 2 challenges.

On Field audio is fun, but may need to be moved off CBS to allow more profanity.

Keep looking for Kevin Costner on sidelines as the GM.

If you think about it, it makes sense. There is enough talent out there for a pseudo NFL development league. Hope it does well.

I’m impressed and surprised at the talent level and quality of play. Cool to see guys I really liked in college like Greg Ward playing. I have been watching this shit over the Rockets and Horns basketball games.

Gonna have to get me some Commanders swag ASAP.
I need to get a polo for casual Fridays.

Same. The talent level isn't bad at all. Love seeing Ward out there. I love the pace of this game, too.

The Fleet have a pretty damn unique  good color combo that isn’t garish. I like grey a lot

We’re football junkies :)

I don’t know why these leagues trick up these uni’s?  Put out some quality uni’s and people will be more likely to stick around and watch a game.   Dress like a bunch of clowns and the circus won’t be in town long.

Get your gear now. If the league goes belly up will be nice collectible

I see that Michael Vick was demoted 2 days ago from Atlanta's OC to 'consultant'....

Already? Lol

I never watched it, so how does this compare to the XFL play? I’ve heard horror stories about their week 1 sloppy play.

This feels a lot less gimmicky.

Whoa Nellie!

I think I had a San Antonio Riders shirt growing up. Wish I still had it.

So far it's far superior to the XFL (or at least how it used to be).

Honestly, what’s wrong with the unis? IMO they haven’t candied these up like bullshit leagues do. Look at what the Browns trotted out. Lettering on the pants and “Cleveland” on the jerseys which are no no’s in my book

Commanders engineering a drive finally. Love that they don't throw flags all over the place. Let people play.
