I KNOW its dumb, Im not paying for it its a requirement of the contract. Anyone have experience Car rental places require that you bring it  in for exchange every 30 days.

Seems excessive

Not sure about monthly lease turn ins but when I was in TX I worked with a couple of firms who had employees that would come into Houston or Dallas for 6-12 month stints and they used D&N leasing - could lease just about any car for any length of time and customize the mileage allowance etc.  private party leasing firms can do whatever they want and structure to the client’s need.

Did something similar while on a 18 month project.   Hertz even let me leave the car on their lot when I went home on the weekend.  It was nice to avoid the weekly paperwork.   Had to work out the deal with the local manager.

As touched on above...

Download the Fair app. Pick your car. Pick your mileage. Choose the minimum down payment option. Drive the car as long as you like. Turn it in any time. IIRC their monthly payment includes insurance.

I did something like this with Avis on a couple of projects.  Monthly rates and letting me park at their lot and having them wash and service the car when I went home on some weekends was a solid deal.
