February 17, 20196 yr You can't pass this up when flipping channels. Classic. Also known as "Catskill Comedians Collide in California". I just made that up, thank you, try the veal ....
February 17, 20196 yr Very funny movie. Dick Shawn and Jonathan Winters were terrific. And Phil Silvers

February 17, 20196 yr Hell, I even liked the modern revamp called Rat Race or whatever. Cleese and the degenerate gambler buddies of his were hilarious and I’ll watch anything with Rowan Atkinson.
February 17, 20196 yr Just an awesome movie. It would be real difficult to get that many of today's comedians in one movie. Plus Spencer Tracy.
February 18, 20196 yr I don't think you'd have a problems getting the comedians. Spencer is another story.
February 18, 20196 yr Absolutely love this movie. I remember going to see it at the drive-in when it came out in 1963 with my mom. Damn I am old.

February 18, 20196 yr The best scene in the movie hands down. Winters and the two geek brothers are comedy platinum plated platinum over 24 carat gold.
February 19, 20196 yr Jonathon Winters was a comedic genius with maybe the greatest delivery of any comedian in history.

February 19, 20196 yr A couple of years ago they had a 50th (I think) anniversary screening at the Cinerama dome in Hollywood. This is the theater where it originally debuted. They even had some of the original cast and crew there, including a senile Mickey Rooney who rambled about god-knows-what for half an hour. I'll tell you though, watching that movie in the theater with hundreds of people laughing their asses off was a pretty awesome experience.
