July 6, 20196 yr Australia just never quit. India could learn a lesson or two from them on batting until the end.
July 6, 20196 yr Far is obliterating his reputation as a clever captain. Don't bowl spin at the death, FFS!
July 6, 20196 yr Need Rabada to come in to take Carey’s wicket. This Phelukwayo asshole is shit bowler

July 6, 20196 yr Fucking hell, why won't you die Australia!!?!! Just 25 needed from the last two overs. Edited July 6, 20196 yr by satyanash
July 6, 20196 yr There we go! Rabada clean bowls Starc, and that should do it. 18 needed from the final over, no wickets in hand. Edited July 6, 20196 yr by satyanash
July 6, 20196 yr According to people a lot smarter than me, the ball doesn’t swing at Old Trafford as evidenced by Starc’s high ER today. That is good news for India against the likes of Blount and Ferguson.
July 6, 20196 yr What an absolute fabulous day of cricket today was. I am so f'ing happy I can sh!t rainbows. India took care of business with absolute precision and the Proteas found their groove but made it interesting until the end. What started out as an absolute crap tournament the first two weeks has wound up being quite exciting.
July 6, 20196 yr Malinga signs the camera as he leaves the ground for the last time in a WC: https://www.cricketworldcup.com/video/1266566
July 6, 20196 yr Australia vs. South Africa ended up as one of the best matches of the tournament. By contrast, the India-SA match was a walk in the park!
July 7, 20196 yr Yep, the SA / AUS match was in my opinion #2 of the tournament so far. Number one was the WI chase that came up just short against NZ with Brathwaite hitting 100 in about 27 overs and just missing a match winning 6 by a couple of feet in the last over. July 7, 20196 yr What an amazing day of cricket. Fucking great way to kill a Saturday. Pissed the Aussies came up short, but damn, they brawled right to the end.
July 7, 20196 yr England Australia will be a brawl of a semifinal. I am happy India can avoid another match at Edgbaston. Considering India and New Zealand were not able to play during round robin, it should be a good matchup.
July 9, 20196 yr The gambling degenerates believe that India will beat that Kiwi ass! https://www.onlinecricketbetting.net/cricket-betting-tips/ind-vs-nz-09-jul-2019/
July 9, 20196 yr Forecast calls for overcast conditions, light rain. Very good for NZ, Boult will be able to swing the ball and swing it good. Normally this would be a batting track but with rain + overcast conditions you also have to factor in the possibility of a rain-shortened chase. Dark clouds and I think the side winning the coin toss has to put the opposition in to bat first.
July 9, 20196 yr Cloudy conditions should aid NZ swing, but during the IND / SL match I believe it was Ian Bishop that said Old Trafford does not swing nearly as much as the other grounds. I'm not smart enough to understand that one, but he knows more about it that I ever will. NZ batting lineup is complete shite. They have Williamson and well... not really anyone else at this point in time. I read a write-up earlier today that pointed out India's spinners have had a lot of success against Williamson so we have that going for us. The NZ openers have been terrible and their middle order isn't much better than the India lineup that gets constantly mocked. I don't think NZ will score more than 250 against India's bowling attack.
July 9, 20196 yr No Shami today? WTF is Rat thinking (or not thinking)? No way I would have dropped him for Bhuvi after Bhuvi's horrible performance Saturday. NZ win the toss, choose to bat first.
July 9, 20196 yr Can't ask for a better start. Two runs after four overs and Nicholls is out for a duck. Guptill out for only one. Good enough. Edited July 9, 20196 yr by Fudge Nuggets
July 9, 20196 yr Man, the ball is really turning on this pitch. Santner and Sodhi are there for NZ, glad they didn't pick another spinner today.
July 9, 20196 yr Author Pressure chase no matter what the score. Gotta keep making it tough for the batsmen. Smart bowling changes.
July 9, 20196 yr 211/5 after 46.1 overs. and the covers are coming on. Fuuuuuuuuuck, India botched this so badly at the death. D/L will work heavily in NZ's favour now.
