Wow. 4th down. Will England even get to 129?

England is like the turd that just won't flush down the toilet.  They always hang around longer than they should.

Get Stokes out and I'll start to feel pretty good.

We're talking about MLB baseball. You probably don't, unless Pablo Sandoval became Bo Jackson overnight and I somehow missed it. Let me know when their outfielders ditch the giant-ass gloves

  • Still all this nonsense about "Dhonis role" in the ODI side. It's called "winner."

Feeling good now? Ashwin is the man.

Spin that rock boys, don't let up

Wtf. Put kuldeep on.

kohli you shit.

Gotta give other bowlers a chance.

get ashwin off. There are 2 other tests in this series

Ok this is the right team now. For sure.

washington sundar is not of the same class as these 3. . Yes, i know this Is a more helpful pitch, but sundar is better bat than a bowler imo.

these 3 are clearly better, wicket-taking bowlers. thats why he was a net bowler.

I guess Siraj was brought into the side for his one boundary with the bat?

He delivers.

Siraj is an awesome find. India has a great set of seamers now.

Just keep rotating the bowlers kohli every 5-6 overs. Dont stick with one for like 16 overs when you have such good options.

Anyone else remember when @UDontKnow said Saha should always be picked over Pant for test matches?  Fun days for sure.

No worries, UDK... I'm just messing with you.

Everyone thought that 2 months ago. Except Pant’s mom. Players grow.

I didn't.  I was pissed that Pant wasn't put into the side from day one of the AUS tour.

Hi Mrs Pant

Pant is my fav player to watch now, btw. Never boring.

GD it Kohli.  Ashwin will ask for appeal on everything.

Need to just ignore Ashwin for the rest of the series. Guy has the worst sense of reality. Thinks every ball he bowls gets him a wicket.

This Gill kid is kind of good.  Even though he went for a duck last innings... hey, shit happens.  Love this guy even though he plays for KKR.

I don't want to jinx it, but there's a building chance that Pujara may not have to come in before the 10th over.  It will be a miracle.

I fell asleep after Siraj bagged his first Test wicket. Now the question is when do India declare (assuming they don't get all out)? I'm guessing India bats through all of Day 3 if possible giving them ample time to go through England's batting lineup. England will obviously be playing for the draw.

There will be no declaration. Too much time remaining. I expect India to be all out by the second session. Game might be over today itself.

He got 13 wickets in Australia.

West Indies sweep Bangladesh, winning the second test by 17 runs.

Rahkeem "Tons of Fun" Cornwall grabbed five wickets and was named Man of the Match.  He also had a great catch on the last ball to win the game.

I have a fairly strong dislike of the bcci. Its a poorly run org due to so many politicians involved due to the money gravy train. And the supreme court reforms went nowhere. Looks like they gave up fixing bcci.

anyway, why do i bring this up?

the bcci is like a fine-oiled japanese car factory compared to the bcb that is the shoddy oil change place around the corner.

the bcb chief sounds like a misbehaving 4-year child whose parents have already given up on disciplining him: https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/ban-vs-wi-2nd-test-nazmul-hassan-slams-mominul-haque-and-russell-domingo-after-west-indies-series-defeat-1251780

what an embarrassment. Dont see bangladesh making any progress this decade if this guy is in charge. Even if they remove him today (which they won’t; cuz he is probably a powerful guy), he has probably inflicted enough damage to the bcb for the next many years.

Cornwall should be everyone's favorite cricketer. Seeing a man that big on a cricket pitch makes me smile. He's actually been losing weight over the last 1-2 years.

I must have still been sleeping when I posted this. I either meant to say first Test wicket in India or first wicket of the Test match.

Either way, there should be more of that coming in England's 2nd innings.

I am second guessing myself here.

Now I think India bats all day or almost all day after seeing how Woakes was able to hang and the promising start by India. The pitch is bad, but may not be entirely demonic at this point?

If India pull it off (bat all day), India will also show they would’ve won irrespective of the toss.

From 1/54 to 4/65... India may not even cross 100 in these innings. Dreadful collapse.

I don't understand the decision to move Pant ahead of Rahane. Is it because Rahane has difficulty playing spin? Not like Pant had any impact with the bat in his cameo appearance. I think if India can get the lead close to 300, it should be a defensible total, however, it will require a heavy dose of Ashwin to pull off.

Left right combo, my guess

Should always stick with first instinct. No second guessing first instincts. Hard to see any indian bat in double figures the way it is going.

Foakes is dammmmn good keeper. How can they play Butler over this guy!!!!

250 lead is way more that enough. India will win even without Ashwin at this point.

Runs is no longer a concern for India. They just want to ruin the pitch even more by batting as long as they can.

For Christ's sake. Rahane gone to an inside edge. This isn't even the bad pitch producing dismissals, this is bad batting.

Kohli's dragged us past 100... now if the tail can just wag a bit longer we can put things out of reach for England

edit: ffs I have the worst timing

India's 2nd innings total has surpassed England's 1st innings total. How many overs will it take to bowl out England a second time?
