We want wicket, sir!!!

Now bowlers are leaking runs.  They are letting Afghanistan get back in a comfort zone.

We're talking about MLB baseball. You probably don't, unless Pablo Sandoval became Bo Jackson overnight and I somehow missed it. Let me know when their outfielders ditch the giant-ass gloves

  • Still all this nonsense about "Dhonis role" in the ODI side. It's called "winner."

Shami has gone full retard after a beautiful start.

May have left him in the field too long without getting a chance to come into the attack.

Pandya got 10 overs bowling today when could have swung 5 overs between Vijay Shankar/Kedar Jadhav with new Afghan batsmen. Poor captaincy.

EDIT: And as I post this, Pandya proves me wrong by bagging another wicket.

Pandya always seems to get worked over a couple of overs then settles in.  If he can keep the bad overs to an average RPO he would be doing fine.

Goddammit Shami. Calm the fuck down, slow your delivery, and don't give up multiple runs per delivery.

EDIT: 9 runs off of that over - higher than the asking rate. Get it together for your last two overs man.

Kedar Jadhav are you kidding me with that fielding?

Fielding today has left a lot to be desired as has some loose bowling giving up free runs on wides and byes.

BOOM what a stumping!!!

Not enough since giving up 8 runs an over.

If India hold on to win, Chahal is Man of the Match.

Him or Bumrah.

Pandya you madarchod, killed us with the missed run-out. Had all 3 stumps to aim at.

He should have half Johnty Rhodes it. He had time to run towards the stumps.

That's plumb!!

Shami, Man of the Match lol.

Four for. Give it to him.

Leave it to India to nearly fuck up 3 points gift in the table. Have to keep winning to stay in the race for the knock out rounds.

Good to escape with the win, but good grief the middle order needs to get its shit together.

Out --> Kedar Jadhav, Vijay Shankar

In <-- Dinesh Karthik, Ravindra Jadeja

Universe Boss and Hetmyer putting up a really nice partnership.  Saying that watch both of them give up their wickets in the next ten minutes.

Ravi Jadeja needs a game. He can't be that much worse than the current middle order bats.

He's the best all-rounder on the roster. His bowling economy is better than Hardik Pandya's. Jadeja is the best fielder India has and by batting him, you shorten the tail. Get your head out of your ass Virat.

West Indies made it interesting against New Zealand, but didn't get the result. Lackadaisical batting from their top order doomed them.

Carlos almost won it by himself.  Other than him and Gayle and a little bit of Hetmyer no one else bothered to show up.  Typical of their side.

Remember the name...

Has to be deflating for him. But on the bright side, he is the new Afghanistan!

I want to feel bad for South Africa, but don't.  They and the West Indies have fallen off a cliff in ODI's.  At least West Indies do good in the T20 format.

Anyone else intrigued for tomorrow's England-Australia tilt? I, for one, am as it will tell us lots about both potential knockout round teams.

Should be one of the best matches of the tournament.

That said, Aussie Aussie Aussie, oi oi oi.

F England.

Shakib with another historic performance yesterday. Second man ever to hit for 50 runs and take 5 wickets in a World Cup match.

In cricket, I hate Aussies more than I hate England. But, India bested Australia in round robin, so I don't really care about the result one way or the other. But England is about to lose this match in pretty bad fashion. Since Australia's terrible loss to India, they have pulled up their boot straps and are back in form. I believe India should win out in round robin play and I predict an India Australia championship match.
