Yeah, I've worn several of their styles over the past 5-6 years. They're solid.

I run in Nikes because I have narrow feet and they fit well. You might just be a New Balance person.

Dude. Think of the podiatrists and orthopedic surgeons who would have no bunions to correct if the world had only wide toe box shoes.

If you want to look like Charlie Sheen on Two and a Half Men it's a killer look.

Would pair well with a pair of bowling shoes. [emoji465]

Or a yacht [emoji41]

If we had a bowling team those would be great “jerseys”.

If that's a moisture-wicking/cool dri kind of material, then I need to know where to buy it, please.

And yeah, pic is in sports pub from a couple of weeks ago during the softball run.

"Ugly sweater parties" are a pox on humanity

I dunno. I’ve seen plenty of ugly sweaters with holes for tits to hang out.

Branded Bills is finally coming out with a Texas collection. They’re pricey, but best hats I’ve ever worn and clean up very easily.

SO MUCH GD BLACK. They basically took every licensed logo in every color and slapped it onto every one of their templates. There's like 13 design elements and 85 hats. I like their templates though. I just wish the emblems were stitched, especially on the rope styles.

For me, the golf club hats are perfect aesthetically. Would be nice if they had more of the standard logos and wordmarks.

Also, if you're a fan of Homefield and that vintage style, check out '47s Texas stuff. It's pretty great. https://www.47brand.com/collections/texas-longhorns

The orange and cream 47 Brand hats with the Longhorn on them are the only Texas hats I ever wear. Perfection.

Another couple of years and these fucking hat companies are gonna make the brand logo bigger than the school. I didnt go to school at BB, get that shit off the hat.

Does BBs make any without the 70s rope?  Been a long time since I’ve worn a hat with a cord, let alone a colored one to stand out.  I am up to buying new Longhorn products, living in SA, and they closed our UT store a couple years ago, so most of my stuff comes from the Co-op or on gameday.

Yeah...happy for you and all...but those logos look like the awful raised helmet bumpers that got so popular. Not for me.

Think my total for all 5 was $100 and I am always looking for new fitted hats that have a curved bill

I do not understand the plastic decal on a fabric hat look. Just odd

This is probably the best thread on Surly Horns, in terms of practical information and no trolls, and I just wanted to thank everyone for their contributions. I have taken advantage of several ideas here. Hopefully, one day, I can share something useful as well.

What’s the best Texas polo these days? I like a basic pique polo ( but the one on the coop website looks like it might be shitty) but am curious about the general consensus.

Thirded on Rhoback.  I have two Texas polos, and a few other of varying designs.  Great quality and fit.  Tip:  I think they run a little big, so if you typically wear a large, you might want to try on a medium.

I bought a criquet polo and wasn't too crazy about it.  The material is thinner than I like and it always comes out of the dryer pretty wrinkled when my other shirts don't.  It doesn't get much wear because of that.  Maybe they have other fabrics and I just picked a crappy one.

While I'm on my old man rant... I really want to like Howler Brothers but they make it hard to.  I got one of those button up shirts of theirs that says, "I'm not a hipster or a cowboy but I'm some kind of cool in-between middle-aged mash up of the two." and that damn thing fits like a garbage bag.  Boxy, square-shaped torso.  I've had $19 Old Navy shirts that were cut better.
