Noticed this is on sale for $24 on Xbox. Worth picking up now that the loot crate dust has settled?

Yep, they just released an update where they unlocked all the heroes for everyone. The lootboxes have returned that you can buy with real money, however now the only rewards are cosmetics and credits. I haven't played it in a couple months, but I plan on jumping back on soon.

cool, i'll pick it up.

I held off on buying it due to all their microtransactions.  I didn't feel like getting lit up by a shitty 12 year old whose dad bought them advantages.   I have a hard enough time getting lit up by 12 year olds without advantages.

Have they changed this?

I don’t think this was actually part of the game upon release. It was rumored, but they pulled it out.

I bought it at release and still play it. The crates were never an issue for me.

I think I'll get in on this. Despite how much everyone said the other Battlefront sucked, I really liked the multiplayer. I know there were server issues when the game dropped, I'm assuming all of that is worked out now?

Picked it up for the boy as an Easter gift for him, or me.

Glad campaign is back. It's fun. I might let him player this afternoon.

Single player was alright, neat to see some new worlds we've never seen before, and cool to play the Heroes, but doesn't make up for the bad multiplayer.

felt like a derp in the starfighters initially, but got it helped a lot when i disabled roll.

I’ve been playing for a bit and enjoying it, but took a break to learn some Fort Nite. What does it mean to disable roll? It won’t let you full barrel roll even if you try?

Yes, it makes the left thumb stick throttle only. I may turn it back on later on, but right now I’m on training wheels.

That’s sounds fun and hilarious.

EA Press Conference admits they fucked up Battlefront 2, so they're revamping the multiplayer. They'll release some Solo Content and Ewoks, and next season will be the Clone Wars with Obi Wan and General Grevious as playable Hero characters.

I’m still playing this. Gen. Grievous is awesome, and I’m trying to get a handle on how to use Obi-Wan. I’m still enjoying this game and appreciate all of the new content.

I need to jump back in on this game. Last time I played was when they released Ewok Hunt.
