There’s been some babip luck for Purdue, but I hope the program didn’t waste any money issuing Henley a jock and cup.

gonna have to score at least 10 to win this.

Dumbfuck play by purdue baserunner. Thanks.

Coach actually called that.

Some FR mistakes that inning. The Reagan error and Kennedy got a horrible jump on that bloop hit to LF. That's a play Kennedy needs to make.

Gave them 2 extra outs.

From what I’ve seen, Kennedy is pretty bad in the OF.

Like Machinator said with Reagan FR are gonna FR at times. Only way they learn is to play them.

Wonder if these runs get Pearce thinking about sending Henley back out. He seems determined to save pitching.

Yep

Give him a chance to get outs, but the leash needs to be tight.

I'll take that out!

What happened there?

If Bertelson can hit his weight ans throw in some XBH, that opens up possibilities. Especially when McCann inevitably  cools off.

Either it hit the batter on the lower leg and should have been a foul ball, or it didn’t hit him and the batter assumed a foul ball. Good job by McCann to get to it fair.

Based on replay, he fouled it off his shin, but it's not reviewable, so they called it out because McCann got to the ball while it was in fair territory.

OK, that should be it for Blair. Thankfully we got another inning out of him without further damage.

Henley was fine after the first inning. The 5th inning had a lot to do with defensive miscues.

Regan’s stance looks familiar but I can’t place it.

Kevin Elster maybe?

Let Henly close it if he isn’t too high on pitches.

Nice to see these HRs.

Is there a second LHP who we couod throw in there to get some experience?

Our strength is going to be the bullpen. Bryant, Diaz, Ridgeway, and Quintanilla will be tough to deal with.

If our starters can just give us 6 innings we're in business.

Love Bryant out of the bullpen. Not sure how good his secondary stuff is but that cutter is nasty in the mid 90s.

Sure is fun to watch a Longhorn team that can rake like this.

Purdue doesn't have any pitching depth. Get to their pen and they are screwed.

This. And we've already seen their 2 best pitchers,

Even though he wasn't sharp, good on Henley for almost going 7--big advantage in a four-game series.

It’s crazy to me that DDA didn’t grow up here and didn’t even go to school here.  Just some guy who decided to spend his disposable income and root for us.

At least 4 backwards K so far. Probably tough though when the Purdue pitchers have been all over the place.
