It’s crazy to me that DDA didn’t grow up here and didn’t even go to school here.  Just some guy who decided to spend his disposable income and root for us.

You seem like a good guy, DDA. Welcome to Surly.

This team hits.

Purdue isn't very good, but the offensive output by Texas is still impressive.

We'll see how they hit the pitchers for LSU and Stanford in a few weeks.

True, but not long ago we would be scoring only  4 or 5 runs against crap pitching.

Not doubt. I'm going to love watching the development of these freshman.

So was everyone too hungover to do the 1st game radio broadcast over the internet?

Caston Peter was my stepson’s batterymate at Stratford last year. Great kid. Really fun seeing him playing for the Horns.

Come on, bats.  I won't get greedy and ask for another 7-spot.  I'll take a 4.

Jesus zubia, take the bat off ur shoulder

Geez, again!

If you’re gonna sit curve, then hit one of the ones he dropped in that you took for strike 1 and fouled off for strike 2.

There can't be many teams with better young arms than we have.

How about the 1 hitter these PU guys are throwing?

Baseball. We're averaging 7.6 runs a game coming into this game so hitting should be fine.

The other problem with the bats in this game is Pierce is trying to get everyone playing time/keep everyone fresh. No Reagan, McCann or Petrinsky.

Not sure our lineup is good enough yet where you can keep several good hitters out of the lineup like Petrinsky and Reagan. There's also a pretty big drop off from McCann and Petter but I understand giving the catcher a breather during a double header.

McCann and then the top of the order. Both Petrinsky and McCann are in the game now.

This is the inning to get something with McCann and then the top of the order up.

Purdue doesn't have any pitching depth. Get to their pen and they are screwed.

This aged real well...
