If you don't read the other basketball threads and have been living under a rock, Kerwin Roach has been suspended indefinitely. I'm guessing Febres will start in his place.

in for beer at 10am.

wait, i seriously missed that.  any idea the reasoning?

i'd say this is the biggest game of the season thus far.  win, and we're probably going dancing.  lose and its really hard to see them getting there.

Shocking.

If that was a charge on Hayes then the offensive player has no rights to charge, that guy was sliding and moving backwards and a weak as fuck charge call.

Interesting that Roach is with the team on the road. Lots of time a suspended player doesn't travel.

Agreed, but he got away with one on the defensive end a couple of possessions later, so it balanced out, imo.

And even without roach we should be able

to win as ou fucking blows this year. 4-9 in a down year makes me wonder how they have won 16 games.

He has a reputation for picking up fouls, especially early, so anything close is going to go against him.

Shaka said before the game that the suspension wasn't his decision.

Interesting. Maybe he doesnt decide who travels or not either.

They play good defense.

I read it as he was suspended by the university (per Craig Way) and that Shaka would not have suspended him.

Yea but still, once they changed the rule from “you have to be set” to “you can be moving just have to have your shoulders squared up to the offensive player” the rule has been way to much up to the official to interpret and there is a massive gray area. You can’t be moving to the side and backwards and be anywhere close to squared up or somewhat set. The bang bang plays gives all the advantage to the defensive player now.

They can't keep up that 3 pace.

at least I hope.

It’s telling they have to go all the way back to 2011 Final Four to talk about Shaka’s coaching success.  Cough, cough, what about the last 9 years?

Shaka is using the whole non-redshirting roster today, it seems.

The history of Texas opponents begs to differ.

If ou loses this game they are basically out of the tourney given it would make them 4-10 with Kansas and k-st left to play. So I expect them to be nuts out today.

Well if ou shoots like this then we will lose by 20.

Thanks for letting down your brothers, Roach.

Fuck you Lincoln.

Lets get back in this.

Is Lincoln Riley trying to be the most smug person on the planet?

He doesn't have to try.

Let's just shoot it from half court next time.

we seem like we suck.

typical not show up shaka bullshit on the road.  really tired of this.

With a full week to prepare!

I love how we pass up open shots to take contested threes from 30 feet out, with 2 seconds left on the clock.  It's almost as if that's our gameplan.
