March 25, 20187 yr I’m going to Target today in honor of the rebirth of this thread. Will report back.
March 25, 20187 yr Checking in with a new name, but same profile pic and useless opinions on warm beer purchased from Target.
March 25, 20187 yr Moving soon and won't have space for my beer fridge so I've been drinking it down the last few weeks. I have / had a lot of good beer in there.

March 25, 20187 yr Gave up beer for quasi-Lent, can't wait for next weekend. I have a shit ton of Zilker brews waiting in my fridge Edited March 25, 20187 yr by TheUofTexas
March 25, 20187 yr I don't know if it's been posted previously but Spindle Tap in Houston is killing the NEIPA style. Houston Haze is delicious.

March 26, 20187 yr For those in Austin, I recommend visiting the Live Oak taproom. The HefeWeizen was a little on the addictive side for me.

A bar called Live Oak (don't believe it is related) on Magnolia & Lipscomb had it on tap the last time I was there.

March 26, 20187 yr And recs on a hefe that isn’t too sweet? I kind of want to mix it up a bit in my beer fridge.
March 26, 20187 yr So does this one rank anywhere on the positive scale for you guys? Never tried the other 3 varieties of Chimay, but I always feel better after a couple of the blue.

March 26, 20187 yr Moon Man is good chit and afaik not distributed outside of WI. BIL brought some down a couple years ago.
March 26, 20187 yr Yesterday, I had a 2017 Deschutes The Abyss Tequila barrel aged stout. That barrel may not have been empty yet since that was one seriously alcoholic beer. Also had a Friends & Allies White ale. I couldn't even taste it after The Abyss.

I think it’s in their motto or something. I have a glass from them my mom brought back for me when she went there, but I haven’t had any of their swill.

March 26, 20187 yr THis has been my go to favorite for the past year or so. I don't think I ever contributed to the old thread, but what the hell, tell me how nasty it is. I will still enjoy it.
March 26, 20187 yr Revolver is good, but they got bought out by macro. AB/InBev I think. But so did Karbach, and they’re still making good stuff.
March 26, 20187 yr All New Glarus is Wisky only distribution. IMO it's their golden goose. They make really good beer, steer clear from anything trendy, and keep it exclusive. The fact that it's hard to come by makes people crave it more, and it's also a source of pride for the in-state market. I'm about an hour from the border, and just happened to get over that way last Wednesday. My in-laws spend summer weekends boating on the Mississippi, so it stays in my fridge for most of the Memorial Day to Labor Day window.
