February 28, 20196 yr anither great look from Ramey, who is now our best all around player. Ramey and Hayes are real deal Big XII players.
February 28, 20196 yr Hayes with the typical "you're a big man so it's a foul when this guy lowers his shoulder and drives into you" foul. a la Dexter Pittman, Cam Ridley, Shaq Cleare, and every other big man we've ever had.

Guys may get a little bigger, a little older, a little more mature looking, but they're the same player every year. Or they've improved by leaving Texas and going to the NBA. Player development is nonexistent.

February 28, 20196 yr Shaka is gonna have to go zone some because I don't think we survive with Coleman and Hayes on the bench long.
February 28, 20196 yr Why Texas doesn’t do that (ball inside to Sims, etc) all the time instead of jacking up mostly missed 3s is beyond me.

February 28, 20196 yr yeah Hepa has a shot ton of work to do before he becomes competent defender. hopefully by this time next year he's at least serviceable.
February 28, 20196 yr Mitrou-Long has the handles and attitude of a hooper and the IQ of freshman J'Covan Brown. Dude is too old and experienced to be playing like this all season.

February 28, 20196 yr At least the team looks game .... without DO and Roach there a welcome drop in the my dog just died vibe... though Simms has a bad case of it tooSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
February 28, 20196 yr Just survive this half. Without Hayes and Coleman for most of the half we're pretty much down 4 starters
February 28, 20196 yr to be fair to Long he isn't suited for our style. a bunch of guys standing around on the perimeter waiting to shoot threes is just about the worst offense for him to be in. he could possibly thrive in a system that let him get up-and-down, that avoided half court sets if possible, and that had a lot of fluid, moving parts.

Dude is too old and experienced to be playing like this all season. You can tell he's not used to the athleticism. He's a step slow on offense and is frustrated that moves which used to work no longer get him by his man.

February 28, 20196 yr These guys on the floor play so much harder and with so much more joy and passion than the likes of Roach and DO. I'm sorry to our seniors but losing them is addition by subtraction. VV nailed it with his earlier post. Edited February 28, 20196 yr by Goo Punch

February 28, 20196 yr So guy with flu symptoms and fever... put him around the healthy players!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
February 28, 20196 yr Texas is playing with a fuck it/nothing to lose attitude without Roach and Osetkowski. No real pressure. Everyone thought this was an auto loss.

February 28, 20196 yr Definitely an urgency and “want it” that DO and Snoop never bring Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
