You did a little better than I did. Well done. Vertigo, Netzer did great with that big GIF.

Thanks. Your post popped up a tenth of a second before I submitted mine.

Yeah, the GIF is quite big with 98 frames. I ended up reducing the colors to 64 and cutting out every second frame.

Your present GIF is very wide for the square box. I cropped it and shrunk it. Shrinking it lost a little resolution, but it’s worth trying it out.

How do we switch to a square avatar?

edit-never mind, it happened on it's own.

I can't get my still picture to load on Tappa. I loaded it to my tappa profile, but it won't show up on Surly.e7e2d0a2c571d3d071f2e9273bd6bf88.jpg

I understand the need for limits on avatar size, but an exception should be made for UnivTex34, right? I usually stop and watch it for 3-4 loops everytime I see it.

Fucking a... So I haven't figured posting pictures out yet. It's the gif of the team dancing on the sidelines during the WVU game and Williams was doing the duck walk. I seriously would appreciate the help getting my old avi back.

Fuck you KM making this incredible inconvenience in my life!

Can't get the gif compressed to where it needs to be and clarity gets shitty the smaller it sets. I can haz help??

You tried to compress a 35 MB behemoth. File size limit is 500 kB. Here are two versions.

5.5 mb is way too large for an avatar. A few of those and it would slow down the site considerably. Here's an edited 2 mb version. No one wants to watch De Niro in that scene.

Bob has marked "hiding avatars" off of his to-do list but I'm not seeing how that can be done. Halp?

Select "no avatar" in the theme drop-down menu at the bottom of the page.

Trying to upload an avatar, used multiple pictures all under the file size, and also tried posting the link to the image. I keep getting an error. Any idea on why?

Thanks in advance....

is there an site you can use to make your photos (specifically photos uploaded from iphone into the photo library in itunes/on macbook) into the correct size to upload as an avatar here?

not sure how/why the one i currently have as an avatar worked, but none of the others work/will upload ... too big:

"file was larger than the maximum file size of 499.712kb, and was skipped."

maybe i'm just not remembering how i did it with the current one

Same error. I've resized jpg to 12kb and 111x111. Tried tapa, safari and chrome. No bueno.

This is a photo of the wife's ass in UT hook'em panties... in case that speeds up a fix and whatnot.
