PJ has always reminded me of Mario Elie.  I hope to see him hit a corner 3 like this soon.

Wasn't PJ the guy that took a ball coast-to-coast and hit a shot at the buzzer against a pretty good team - UConn, UNC or somesuch?  I swear I have a memory of some big shot he hit at the end of a game....

It was against Providence, in RI, in front of the trashiest fans in America. He went coast to coast and scored the game winner with less than once tenth of a second left. there was a big controversy because on the replay the ball was still on his fingertips when the clock read 00.0, but the red light on the backboard and the buzzer didn't go off until the ball was off his fingertips. The problem was that the arena's clock didn't go past tenths if second, so it should have read something like 00.03 when he let it go, but all the fans could see was 00.0. He got the shot off by literally hundredths of a second.

True to form those trash ass fans started hurling shit at the court and at our players who had to be rushed out of there, and Todd Wright, the nicest guy in the world, but the last guy you'd ever want to piss off, had to be physically restrained by several grown men to keep him from going into the stands to go after somebody who said/did something towards him/a player/family member. crazy night PJ's freshman year.
